Our farm is located on the southwest slope and is located in the highest and quiet area of the village of El Pinar in the south of the island of El Hierro. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of La Gomera and the El Teide in Tenerife. The Canarian pine forest is just a stone's throw away. The area is a challenge to mountain bikers and hiking enthusiasts. The climate is very pleasant; in summer a little fresher and nice and warm in winter. The area is a place of rest and quiet.

Casa Rural Los Santillos

Los Santillos is a small rural cottage just outside El Pinar. Thanks to its secluded location in the middle of the volcanic landscape of El Hierro, it is a perfect place to disconnect from stress and routine, and enjoy the total tranquility offered by the nature of the island. The house consists of one bedroom with double bed. A kitchenette with a second bedroom with a single bed. In addition to a bathroom with shower and a large living room, in which the kitchen is located.

Casa Poesía keeps traditional El Hierro architecture alive; stone walls, a juniper-chip ceiling, and the private patio make a harmonious architectural ensemble that maintains the love of a poetic home. Built by my paternal grandparents in 1900-restored in recent years step by step and with a lot of love, in the last 3 years we renovated the staircase, changed the windows and door of the upper floor, creativity and art are mimicked in the essence of the house. Welcome!

It is located at one end of the main street in a quiet area a few meters from all services (banks, bars, restaurants, post office, supermarkets, etc.) Less than a 10-minute drive away you have many places of interest such as the natural pools of La Maceta, El Charco Azul, El Hotel Punta Grande or the Ecomuseum of Guinea where the Giant Lizard of El Hierro is located. The cottage has a small terrace overlooking the ocean.

El Sitio is distributed in 7 individually designed houses, built in the traditional style of El Hierro with lava stones. Each house offers a small kitchen and a private bathroom.

I am renting a tiny house below my property in the gulf valley of El Hierro. Shower outside, loo inside. A small kitchen beside the accomodation, which is for one person only. Good WIFI-access. This is no hotel-room in the wilderness, no wardrobe. Basic and cozy.
