This place is absolutely perfect for a couple’s getaway. Walking distance to a beautiful creek and a few great food spots, and a reasonable drive from Emerald Bay, Incline Village, and the quaint town of Truckee. The house is cozy, clean, and feels so peaceful and private. When we come back to Tahoe in the future we will stay at this exact place. It checks every box! Amanda is a kind and proactive host and provides many recommendations in her curated guidebook. 10/10 !!!

We had a wonderful stay at AvantStay in Lake Tahoe! The home was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special shoutout to the host for going above and beyond—they generously dropped off Nespresso pods and creamer when we inquired, even though it's not something typically provided. We truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture and his quick communication throughout our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a thoughtful and responsive host in a beautiful location! House has an awesome hot tub, fenced in backyard, board games and fireplace and deck. Access to main road and lake and downtown Tahoe City is easily walkable. Only downside is 1 bathroom if you had numerous people at the house, but for us it was perfect.

Lovely 3 nights with a good friend. Great location for hiking options. Nice quiet neighborhood. Close to Tahoe City for groceries and restaurants. Small but adequate kitchen, we brought all our own spices and oil for cooking which was good. Comfortable beds and living area. Good communication with rental group leading up to our stay. Nothing fancy, but cozy and quaint for two to four people.
