“Jo and Kent were the kindest most gracious hosts, and it was evident that they put a lot of loving care into this property. The cabin was clean, stocked with essentials (wood, potable water, pots/pans/utensils/measuring cups, French press, flashlights, solar shower, gas grill, etc etc) and full of thoughtful touches. My dog and I stayed alone on the island for 6 days, and I felt completely safe, comfortable and supported every step of the way. They were flexible and available if I needed anything, yet also respectful of space and privacy. The sunrise/sunset views here are *out of this world.* At dawn, we’d walk out onto the little northern peninsula to stand directly between the moon and stars on the west, and the glow of daybreak on the east. So peaceful and beautiful. I will miss this place!! It was honestly my favorite vacation ever.”

“Stephen's cozy little cottage, is wonderfully located just far enough away from in town Gardiner. It got interstate access within 5 mins of the location, and it has a interstate service stop for all your impromptu needs! It's quaint, and quiet and the scenery is as true to Maine as can be! We did experience some weather during our stay, and it caused power outages, which last overnight. Bring some candles and flashlights, as this is expected right on the water in Maine. Stephen was amazing checking in with us, and keeping in touch, to make our stay as comfy as possible.”
This 1-2 person cabin is cozy, simple, and quiet, which makes it a perfect place to getaway and enjoy one of Maine's most incredible lakes! It can hold more guests if you provide your own air mattress and/or tent. Use of kayaks, paddle boards, fire pit, gas grill, and dock slip for your own boat included.
“We loved staying at the cosy cabin, and it was absolutely that. We stayed late September into early October, and it was chilly at night, but warmed up in the mornings once we turned the small heater on. It's amazing how quiet the place was - even in spite of the building work happening behind it. We made use of the kayaks and were surprised by the fact we had the lake to ourselves, and it that the water had retained some of the summer warmth in the shallower parts! We made use of the convection hob, microwave and BBQ and all worked perfectly. There was firewood if we'd wanted to have a bonfire, but the beautiful Maine thunder storm took hold of the night, so we didn't end up using it. The cabin is a wonderful getaway for two people, we felt so lucky to be staying there!”
