Our stay at this amazing house/home in Portugal was truly perfect! Everything you could ask for was here. The Villa is stunning, designed down to the last detail, and fully equipped with everything you need. The view from every window of the house is breathtaking, overlooking the 500 shades of green . The location offers easy access to beautiful hiking trails and natural spots. Michelle the host were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available whenever we needed anything. The guest rooms are super comfortable, and the living rooms are luxurious. We loved it ❤️

Beautiful and cozy house for a group of 7. The fireplace had been lit previously so the space was very comfortable when we arrived on a winter night. Thoughtful and kind host. I recommend it.

Perfect place to stay with Piodao 10 minute drive away. It had everything that we needed and the views were extraordinary. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Piodao.

A great peaceful place to stay away from city frenzy but still not too far away (by car) from Coimbra. The house was even better than what photos convey. It had lots of space.

The personal reception was very warm. The house was super clean and decorated with a lot of attention. Everything complete. I was there for my work, good internet. Great. The city of Tondela is 10 minutes away by car. All amenities available. Maria gave me a lot of tips on what and where to do. Thanks for this beautiful stay !

A group of 7 people, and we all loved the stay! The house is very good, we had a wonderful reception with Mr. Alfredo, super nice and made us feel comfortable with a nice conversation. The house is equipped with everything and was impeccable when we entered! The pool and barbecue area was where we spent most of our time, super nice and comfortable. We hope to return one day!!

Ideal house to rest with the family: extremely quiet, out of sight, possibility to enjoy the sun or to stay cool (air-conditioned bedrooms and living room), whether in the house or the garden. The house matches the photos perfectly, no complaints!

We had a fantastic stay. The foto’s do not do the house justice, the gardens are soo beautiful and the pool is just amazing. We spent a week and it was way too short. Antonio and his wife welcomed us and told us all about the history of the house. They gave us a tour of the house, but also of the private chapel and balcony. They also gave us some tips about things to visit. We went kayaking near Coimbra and that was an excellent outing with 6 teenagers. It was quite hot so most of the days we just stayed near the pool. In the evening the temperature goes down a lot, which is a nice change. Armando, the gardener is also very friendly. He brought us fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden everyday, what a treat! This is truly a wonderful and peaceful place and we will definitely come back!

We stayed 2 nights at Denise's. We would have liked to have stayed a little longer. The room is comfortable. You feel very good at Denise's.

Great stay, a big thank you to Andy! The house is large enough for a family of 10. Everyone had a quiet little corner. The pool is superb in every way (large, natural filter, few products). The house is in a good location. It still takes a vehicle for sightseeing! The fruit and vegetable garden provided by Andy are excellent. In my opinion, only one downside, the Portuguese mattresses are much softer than the French mattresses. It was a really great stay for the whole family. Thanks again. Abigael

This was one of the nicest Airbnb experiences I have ever had. The accommodation was perfect for me and the rate included an incredible breakfast I could have at the time of my choice. Additionally, the host was super kind and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it highly.

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay at Ricardo’s place and felt very welcome with all the lovely hosting touches and attention to details. Ricardo was responsive to us; nothing was too much trouble. We were travelling with our pets in the height of summer and the air-conditioning and cool stone walls of the listing were perfect for our needs, as was the relaxing pool area. The breakfasts are delicious and full of variety. We really liked that an option of plant milks was served as well as local products. Thank you for everything. Highly recommended.

The stay was excellent. We count from the first moment with the precious help of the host to get to the place. Upon arrival, youput us at ease in the residence. Since we didn't know the region, it also helped us with the main points to get to know. Regarding the stay, the accommodation exceeded expectations. With a wonderful view and visibly renovated facilities, it was definitely a good choice!

We had a very nice stay in Folhadosa. The house and garden are very well maintained. Every morning there was a very lovingly prepared breakfast. The Serra with its beautiful landscape is a short drive away. All in all a very loving and beautiful place to spend a few days of your vacation.

The Solar dos Alperces is a beautifully renovated historical house, with all the modern upgrades required to enjoy the rural area close to Serra da Estrela. The rooms and living spaces are well decorated, cared for, and comfortable, and the rooms are always warm which is important in the winter. Sergio is truly a super host! He’s polite, cheerful and is always available to help out, suggest places to visit and to eat, and to share a story. The fact that he lives on the property contributes to a great overall experience. Travancinha is a great “base” to visit the nearby mountains and trekking trails, and the house is a wonderful place to retire to in the evenings and relax and share stories.
