The interior space is small but the goal was not to stay at home, we like the fact that there are several things for the children, the pool area is spectacular, there are several leisure areas and the fact that there are pool items was also a plus. It has a very nice deck and I really like the sofa, great for socializing. For me, the experience was worth it and I would go back.

We spent a wonderful weekend in this house with friends and family. The house is very beautiful, clean, well-equipped and very cozy. All the rooms were prepared with great affection and attention to detail. The outdoor area was the highlight: perfect for gathering everyone, relaxing and enjoying good times barbecuing and having fun in the pool. Mrs. Adelaide was extremely attentive and helpful and ensured that everything was perfect for our stay. We definitely recommend it!

The little village of Sigueros is truly a magical place. We booked this home last minute after staying nearby in a different cottage. We loved the area so much we needed some extra time there! There are gorgeous walks and numerous trails right from the house. We cooked and enjoyed the fire in the evenings. The bedding, matress, pillows - all incredibly cozy. We hope to return in the summer when we can enjoy the pool and the excellent outdoor spaces at the house. Thank you so much for a great stay.

Great house, very well-equipped, easy to make Checkin, clean and compatible with your photos. Our stay was very quiet and the host was worried to the point that we arrived and the house was already air-conditioned, since it was cold outside, we love it, super recommended!

Cosy and comfortable house with wonderful views over the valley. Great place to stay in winter too. We enjoyed New Year's Eve here. The place reminded us of our grandmother's house. José is such a nice person. Hope we can come back in summer to try the swimming pool. Place is quiet. It's also close to the places of Serra da Estrela.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

Beautiful private spot. Paul was amazingly helpful and communicative, any queries answered immediately but also he didnt invade our personal space. Perfect balance. Amazing host. Very relaxed and the house had all the amenities we could want. Definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay! The house is incredibly spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with a great view of the countryside. (The only lack was an oven, although there’s a convection microwave and BBQ and even an outdoor pizza oven.) Carlos was an amazing host, so warm and kind and concerned that we enjoy our stay. For example, he told us about a folkloric festival nearby which was only attended by locals (and us), and when I asked about an orange juicer, he went and bought one and brought it over. We used the place as a base to explore Coimbra (30 minutes away), to kayak the Mondego river (from Penacova 20 minutes away with O Pinheiro), and to cycle the Dao ecopisto, a 48 km decommissioned railway line (which you can do one way with Abelenda Bike Rental who include transfer). I highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing and impeccable place. The pool is unique. The whole experience was perfect. Ideal place to enjoy with family and disconnect from the routine.

Richard and Ishbel offer a very special home, allowing you to get off the grid and be surrounded by beautiful nature while also being very close to many amenities - gas, grocery, cafes and restaurants within a 10mins drive. The hosts are very accommodating and friendly, and live next door and are very respectful of your privacy and helpful with providing suggestions. They have a large property that is a paradise for kids to explore with rabbits, cats, dogs, ducks and chickens - and even horses across the stream at another property.

Super friendly hosts, eager to help. Everything was clean, beautiful view from the balcony, private parking space. The kitchen is separate, so you need to leave the room and walk a couple of meters outside and go down a set of stairs.

We loved our stay at Ana's place. Perfect for those who like nature and enjoy relaxing. A true paradise but also very close to the city of Coimbra if anything is needed. Can't wait to be back!

Cozy space and calm environment. The apartment has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Giant garden for our little dog to play in, we will surely come back.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden paradise. The place is absolutely stunning: remote, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor barbecue that worked perfectly for us. However, the real charm is in the outdoor areas. Not only did we have a waterfall right at the doorstep, we were also able to enjoy a natural pool just for ourselves. The sound of the water, the refreshing swims in the river, the clean air... it all created a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words. Truly revitalizing. Alex was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and communicative, while also giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy. Super easy to talk to and made everything smooth from start to finish. Trust me, this one is a real gem. We already can't wait to come back!

amazing place for family weekend

Tidy and quiet space. Cozy house and very friendly hostess. We were allowed to stay until after check-out. The only thing more annoying was the trash left with food scraps in the kitchen, but it was easily resolved. I highly recommend it, there are many beautiful landscapes.

I had a wonderful overnight stay at Deolinda's Casa. She provided coffee and breakfast foods, for a fine start to my day. The bed was super comfortable. The area is safe and very quiet. This accommodation is highly recommended!
