The Sailor’s Rest was the perfect stop for our trip! The shouse (house + shed) was very cozy, well furnished, and filled with supplies with great quantity and quality, making it a “home” far away from home. We love the view and the little patio in front of the shouse. Colleen and Scott was so caring and welcoming by making sure we got everything we need and giving us detailed instructions on how to get there as it was a bit hidden from the outside. We are truly grateful for their hospitality and thoughtfulness. Also, if you love cats, there might be a surprise waiting for you.

Craig and Chelsey’s place is a lovely and peaceful getaway. We just stayed the night on our way from Twillingate to St. John’s and it was a perfect location with all the amenities we needed and a comfortable bed. We would love to stay here again and spend more time exploring the area!

Such a gem of a place, and a perfect home base for exploring the area. The decor is so lovely and cozy. We loved our time exploring the region. The water pressure can be an issue because of the nature of the well but Chris was so responsive in helping us troubleshoot any issues. Highly recommend.

This home was a real gem. It was beautifully decorated, well-stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Small added touches everywhere were very much appreciated including the chairs and fire pit outside, walking sticks, decor from local artists. This home is well cared for and is the quintessential Newfoundland home. The location was very quiet and the view cannot be beat. The fact that there were three icebergs in the backyard when we arrived was the icing on the cake! We cannot recommend Guillaume's home more. Bonavista was definitely a highlight of our road trip across Newfoundland. The restaurants were great and it is a nature lovers paradise... with Spillar's Cove, Dungeon, the Lighthouse and Elliston all within a short drive, it should be on everyone's list. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had a very comfortable stay in Shannon’s clean, well-stocked cottage. It had everything we needed for our stay exploring Terra Nova National Park. Enjoyed staying in and BBQing steaks one night and having a restful sleep. Absolutely recommend if you need a place to stay in this area!
