Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Sussex Inlet

We had such a wonderful and comfortable stay with our bub and our pup. Juan is prompt with his replies. He was very helpful and accommodating to our requests. The accommodation is very quaint, clean and feels right at home. It’s at a convenient location with lots of options for food. We’ll definitely be back again!

The house was spacious and sunny with a private backyard. The views from upstairs looked to both the sea and mountain ranges. As a large family group we appreciated having two bathrooms as opposed to a bathroom and ensuite that you find in many places. Coles supermarket and shops were a convenient short walk away.

We had a wonderful stay that far exceeded our expectations. The house was incredibly spacious, with more than enough room for our family, and the bonus of having two kitchens made everything so much easier when catering for a big group. The outdoor play area was a huge hit with the kids – plenty of space for them to run around and stay entertained. The fire pit was another highlight, perfect for relaxing in the cool evening and enjoying quality time together. One night simply wasn’t enough—we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a family-friendly, comfortable, and well-equipped getaway!

We spent a weekend at Sassafras as a family as a surprise for my Mum's 70th Birthday. It is the most beautiful and private location for anyone wanting a true country escape to unwind. A stunning home nestled amongst rolling hills and greenery with breathtaking views. Huge house with a beautiful relaxed vibe, plenty of room for the family to enjoy together, allowing the kids to enjoy activities on the lawn and for the adults to relax and enjoy conversaion and a glass of wine around the fireplace. Sally was an incredible host, extremely friendly, quick to respond with any question and extremely accomodating. Would recommend hands down, we were very happy with our stay!

Retro home in a beautiful location - just as described in the listing. We had a lovely view of kangaroos out the back at dawn. We were unfortunate with the weather while we were there but there is good internet and heating available which makes it comfortable to stay inside. There are thin sliding doors so best suited for a group who either aren’t fussed by noises or all go to bed at the same time

Marie was a lovely host and the house is beautiful, nestled in the bush above the beach within a 2min walk! I would recommend anyone to stay at Marie’s

Lovely spot. The flat is very comfortable and has everything needed. Really lovely outdoor area and outlook onto George’s Basin. Great to have access to a fire pit and bar-b-que, even though we didn’t use them.

Return visit to Le Connoisseur this week and really enjoyed the ambience and warmth of this apartment! Really charming interiors with lots of natural light. Close to everything in Bowral, will definitely return! Thank you for hosting a great Airbnb experience Maria.

Maria's Little Gem is just that, a little gem. Everything you could want for a quiet overnight or a long stay. It's a short distance from Bowral CBD which is nice to have the quiet :)

My favourite Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Even more beautiful than the photos. Stunning decor, a gorgeous garden and lots of seating areas. The complimentary breakfast basket and Nespresso pods were very appreciated. Immaculately clean, lovely toiletries and loads of helpful local recommendations.

We loved our stay- perfect location, central to town centre, beaches and attractions. Lisa was so lovely and friendly when we had an enquiry. The place is lovely and having a pool and a jacuzzi available was so so good! Definitely would love to come back!

We had a lovely stay and wish we could have stayed longer. The studio was charming and homely, and the touches of the breakfast hamper, teas, coffees and juice were a lovely and thoughtful touch.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alexander's Cottage! It’s super cozy, beautifully restored, and has everything you need for a relaxing break. Waking up to the sounds of the forest and spotting kangaroos right outside was amazing. The beach is just a quick walk away, and the deck is the perfect spot to chill. No WiFi, no TV — just pure peace and nature. Can’t recommend it enough!

Ross and Joanne were amazing hosts and the stay was exactly what I was looking for. With their hospitality and advice we had a wonderful time and felt very comfortable despite less than ideal weather. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had been put into the accommodation - for example a fire pit, newspaper, and firelighters were all provided, and the kitchen was well stocked with essentials. Detailed and clear instructions for the accommodation were provided which I really appreciated, making it easy to use the appliances! Overall this was a beautiful place to stay with kind and welcoming hosts, perfect if you want to explore the nearby coasts and National Parks or equally as perfect for an unplugged getaway in a pristine location.

We had a great stay at Karen and Terry's place. The cabin has a magical feel about it with beautiful peaceful gardens outside. There are so many different spaces to relax and Karen added extra touches such as personal welcomes, fresh flowers, coffee and plenty of basic supplie etc etc. Would recommend a stay here.

The Shedio was an amazing place to stay at. It was very clean and quiet and the views were simply stunning. We were allowed to check in early as well which made it very convenient for us. Highly recommend Rowena’s place and will definitely stay at again!!

The stay at Gen’s tiny home was lovely! A gorgeous space with small details like snacks and drinks in the fridge. Gen was very responsive and gave excellent recommendations for the area. The space was spotless and all amenities thought of. Very dog friendly with a fenced off area for the dog to have an off leash roam in. Getting to pat the horses was an added bonus. Would recommend and would love to return.
