Nice place if you’re looking for soulful retreat. Good food and very attentive staff. I loved the small hike to Sattal.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The peaceful and scenic surroundings were perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms and washrooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Diksha was super responsive and provided clear instructions, making our check-in seamless. The real highlight was the incredible cooking by the caretaker's wife! 🍴 Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious and satisfying. Bhagwan Das, the caretaker, was also very supportive and helpful. The property is well-laid out, with a spacious kitchen and dining area on the first floor and cozy rooms on the second floor. The beds were excellent, and the washrooms were big and clean. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the balcony's unique perk - we got to witness a hot air balloon activity up close! 🌟 We were mesmerized by the breathtaking views from the comfort of our own home. We're just 700 meters from the lake, with a great market along the way for daily essentials and medical shops.

The place is just 5-10 minutes away from the Bhimtaal by vehicle and is well maintained. Anushka is sucha proactive host, she loves her guests and is pretty invested and determined to make the stay a fabulous one for her guests. She will make you feel like you know her for too long and her recommendations about the places that you must visit are just spot-on… Surender bhaiya is a sweetheart, he made sure everything was comfortable for us during our stay, from the time he came to pick us up near the bhim taal To the day we left… Definitely will come back here.

And in the evenings, we could even hear live music across the lake from the opposite side — peaceful, soul-soothing. The ambiance of Shanti Kunjj is beautiful, serene, and incredibly peaceful; perfect for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature. A special mention to Sanjay, the caretaker, who ensured every little detail was taken care of and made us feel truly at home. Also, Mahendar’s homemade meals were an absolute delight — comforting, flavourful, and made with love. Richa, the owner response very quickly to any queries. If you're looking for a calm and rejuvenating getaway in Bhimtal, Shanti Kunjj is the place to be. Highly recommended!
