Nice stay, good conversations!

The apartment is absolutely recommended and we liked it very much. Everything is brand new, everything has been thought of and it was sparkling clean. Wieke is a good host, she knows how to pamper the guests and was easily accessible for questions (and to check with us if everything was to our liking). Unfortunately, we had the misfortune that the weather was bad, but the area is beautiful.

The accommodation of Margriet and her husband is very idyllically located on a small canal, simply fantastic. We were able to store our e-bikes in the shed. We had 3 great days, in 30 minutes drive you can reach many cities, such as Leeuwarden, Groningen and also the Wadden Sea! Dokkum is also highly recommended. A beautiful town, a little more relaxed than Groningen. You also have the natural paradise right outside the front door! 😊 Simply beautiful! And not to forget the friendly house dog Sam, who likes to come by and pick up petting! 🥰

We (2 adults + a 10-year-old child) enjoyed the time very much and can very well imagine coming back. The landlady is very friendly and helpful. Everything in the house is as shown in the photos and described in the description. The terrace and the view of the pond, the meadow and the animals are very nice and invite you to relax. The sauna is also very nice, of course. In particular, in the evening and at night, it is very quiet. The price for the wood for the sauna (currently €15 per basket) is completely fine and a basket was enough for us for 3 days, but you could also buy more wood at short notice from the landlady. A supermarket and a fishing shop are nearby (2-3 minutes' walk). Other shops and restaurants are also a few minutes away. Parking is right in front of the property on the premises.
