Vacation rentals with a patio in Sunnybank Hills

We stayed at Ben’s place for a week. We were greeted with a welcome basket with tasty treats from James Street Bakery, pretzel chips, and Pellegrino water. The unit is clean and cozy, with a lovely outdoor space for eating and lounging. The laundry area is tucked away in the outdoor space, and the glass sliding door does a great job of blocking sounds while doing laundry. There are also Aesop products in the bathroom. The WiFi speed was great, no issues working remotely. The kitchen has a Zip tab, instant filtered Hot/Cold water, a Nespresso machine with a milk steamer, and glass snap containers for food storage. The unit is in a quiet part of town. Supermarket is a short walk away, and cute bars and restaurants are 3-5 minutes away. 2 bus lines and ferry access made getting around on public transport easy. Ben’s communication and response time were excellent. He made accommodations for us to arrive early and check out late due to our last-minute canceled flight.

This apartment is absolutely perfect. Beyond the excellent facilities and fair price, the hostess's kindness and communication are exceptional, they truly make all the difference!

I am a cereal Airbnb user and this property was clean on a new levels, the likes of which I had not seen before. There was an abundance of complimentary products such as tissues, wash, sponges, laundry products, pillows, etc., etc. The view from the bedroom and the adjacent balcony was spectacular. The property is totally quiet - nothing can be heard from adjacent apartments, nor from the floor above. The check-in by description was quite involved, but when you are going through the process it is logically simple. Key lock allows you to check in at any time - like midnight for me. 150m to Toowong shopping centre which also has the Toowong train station underneath. This is a huge plus. The property is a one bedder, but it is far from small. The layout is clever and with a two-way bathroom and large walk-in laundry room, this is ideal for one or two people. Great lifts, easy parking. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely beautiful central place .. comfortable bed , breakfast provisions , so close to everything. Super clean .. lovely bathroom products. Everything one needs for a night away .

What an outstanding apartment and host! The apartment has absolutely stunning views across the Brisbane River to the CBD, which looks spectacular at night. The apartment has everything you need, is spotlessly clean and is in walking distance of South Bank and the CBD. The underground car park is a huge plus if you're travelling by car and Will kindly offered early access to the car park after the previous guests checked out, so I was able to park up and explore the area on foot until check-in time (which was also available earlier than scheduled). Will provides very clear instructions on the check-in and check-out processes and is quick to respond to questions. The only criticisms I can make is if you're a light sleeper (like me), the noise from the trains and the air conditioning might be slightly annoying, but you'd probably get used to these after 2-3 nights and forget about them.

Comfy and stylish place in a great location. I had a 3 night stay while attending a conference at the Powerhouse. Very handy location for me with the James St area, Riverwalk, Howard Smith Wharves and Powerhouse all walkable. Good bus routes over the road too and lots of good food options.

Great location within walking distance to the train station. Clean and tidy with all the amenities required for a longer stay. Easy to get to the city and show grounds. Would recommend.

A great stay in one of the best locations in Brisbane. The property is a very short walk to Brisbane’s best shops and restaurants. It was very clean and I loved that the pantry had the staples (oil, salt, pepper) to prepare a meal that is often not included in Airbnbs in 2025. Great value for money.

We had a great three night stay at Brett's place. It was an easy drive to the places we wanted to visit and we'll positioned for our departure south west towards Toowoomba. The kitchen was well equipped and we used it to make a few meals at home. We walked up to a local coffee shop a few times and also did a longer walk down to the river, where we caught the RiverCat ferry into Brisbane CBD without having to worry about or pay for parking. The walk back to Brett's place uphill was a bit more challenging but manageable even for us (reasonably fit retirees). Very quiet location in a residential street. We'd be very happy to stay again.

A local stay that felt like we escaped miles away into the bush. Peaceful surroundings and little luxurious touches such as a beautiful big bath and a gorgeous fireplace. If you’re looking for a romantic escape where everything you need is on hand , you can enjoy home-cooked meals, morning cuppa on a Sunlet veranda, and feel like you’re truly able to relax then this is the place for you.

The house was great. Exactly what we needed. Close to friends and family and the places we needed to go. Our hosts provided a positive response to our request to have a few people visit. All in all we were very happy there.

Very nice and affordable for a family of three to stay here, very well maintained and clean. Very close to Hotel Richlands and a few mins walk to the shops. My fav was the walk in rode and a simple and easy washer and dryer. Thank you for the stay!

we stayed for 9 days. home is spacious, clean, comfortable.Our 2 kids enjoyed the time there. Has a large front and back backyard. Newly renovated. Has all the amenities like AC, TV, washing and drying ,well equipped kitchen.30 mins to Brisbane and Gold coast. We are grateful to Chat and his wife for cooking us amazing food. Chat was very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay. I would strongly recommend staying at his place.

Dry Dock Cottage was everything it said it was going to be and more... it felt a lot like home. Warm, cozy, comfortable and clean. All the essentials and little touches to make our stay easy and stress free.

For a long stay, I had every need not only met, but expectations exceeded as a result of my hosts thinking ahead of the extra amenities I would require for a long stay. It was a true home away from home. Jeff was a gentleman. He and the co-hosts present a very thoughtful and comfortable product for guest enjoyment. Woolworths Metro was around the corner and complimented the apartment perfectly. You couldn't find a more convenient location to stay and discover Brisbane by Ferry. the river walks are also breathtaking in Teneriffe. Eating out, cafe culture, and socialising opportunities are plentiful in this area. book this place!

Spacious place in a quiet neighbourhood. Convenient location - opposite a supermarket and lots of buses to take you straight to the city. Smooth check in and checkout process.

In this area at this price I would say look no further! A lot of Airbnbs in this 2km radius have lots of negative comments about train noises - Amy’s flat however is in the perfect location and it is so quiet - you honestly don’t hear anything. Everything we needed was available and Amy was very responsive. The baby high chair and cot worked so well for us, and our toddlers enjoyed the space; however we were a bit concerned about the very larger mirror potentially falling or breaking as it didn’t look like it was secured to the wall. Overall a great stay and would book here again.

Really convenient, comfortable apartment walking distance to lots of great restaurants and the ferry. We loved walking along the river with the dog. Would happily stay again
