House vacation rentals in Sumter County

Had a great time with the family! The neighborhood is very beautiful and peaceful. The pool is gorgeous and we spent a lot of time there. Tammy was very responsive and attentive. The ice maker didn't work for us, but we made do without. Overall it was fabulous!

Wonderful spot to visit if you're going to see Providence Canyon State Park! It's super close-by and hopping in the sparkling clean pool after a hot days hike is an unmatched experience! We tossed the ball to each other while floating around with the tubes and had grilled burgers and watermelon! The home is spacious and comfortable for large parties and was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals. 😁 Would book again.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this charming home. The pool and hot tub were highlights. We loved that the home has been tastefully updated while keeping its character in tact. We had never been to Montezuma, but this home drew us to a new destination for a fun weekend away.

This is the second time we have stayed at this home and it suits us well. Both times it has been clean and comfortable I would recommend it to anyone.

Host was really nice and quick is response. Super understanding. There were 18 of us and never felt crowded. The place is huge. The kids had a lot of fun running around.

This place is a 5/5. It was worth every dollar. The inside and outside was very clean, and anything I needed Renzo responded right away. I didn’t have any problems & will be booking again

Ms. Safa Margarette went above and beyond making sure that you got everything you needed and always asking if you needed something. Will highly recommend staying in her place.

It was a great find

We really loved this place. It was beautiful and just as described and pictured. There were tons of space and very clean. You can barbeque, sit out on the deck or just enjoy the beautiful inside. We took our Mom to the train depot in Cordele for President Jimmy Carter's train ride tour and she loved it. Please be advised, there are a lot of stairs in the house so plan accordingly. We would have liked to negotiate on the checkout time but it all worked out in the end. Definitely worth the price.

Was down in Americus for a wedding and Vontae's house was a perfect place for our family to stay. He answered every message and phone call I had. Beds super comfortable. Not sure if I will ever be back in Americus but if I am I know where I will be staying.

Review: Our stay at the lake house on Lake Blackshear was nothing short of incredible! My family and I traveled 12 hours to spend Thanksgiving with my father-in-law, and this home provided the perfect setting for a truly memorable holiday. The views were absolutely breathtaking—watching the sunrise and sunset from the porch quickly became our favorite part of the day. The house was well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, making our stay both comfortable and convenient. We spent our days fishing and relaxing by the water, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and reconnect as a family. The host clearly put a lot of thought into making the home welcoming and enjoyable for guests. If you’re looking for a serene getaway with stunning views and everything you need to relax, this lake house is the perfect choice. Would highly recommend.
