Cottage in the heart of it all, and three minutes from the New River Gorge Bridge National Park.A delightful, private place with a large field on two sides, but is very close to everything the area has to offer. It is spacious and cozy, and the perfect place for travelers to explore and relax.Unwind with a drink on the front porch looking into a field, or enjoy the expansive entertaining area with grill, seating, and 7-seat hot tub after a day of adventuring, or sit by the fire pit with s’mores.

The Vandalia House is located on our 300 acre farm bordering The Gauley River National Recreation Area with direct access to both the Gauley and Meadow rivers. A gorgeous home in a stunning & private location. We have private trails, access to rivers right here on the property. Close by there is whitewater rafting, mountain biking, boating, golfing, climbing, & fishing. 20 minutes to outstanding restaurants.

My house is in Gauley River National Recreational area. And only Approximately 3 miles from Summersville Lake and the famous Gauley River whitewater rafting. Rock climbing, hiking trails, swimming only minutes away. Also Fayetteville is only 15 minutes away. And the New River Gorge Area. The United States newest National Park. Lots of hiking and endless adventures. Gorgeous sunset from the fire pit right in front of my house. Also enjoy the sunset view while soaking in the Hot Tub.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Great place for families, business professionals and adventurers. When visiting the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, stay at this quaint stone cottage less than a mile off of Route 19 in downtown Oak Hill, WV. Things to Note: This little cottage has skylights upstairs, so light floods into this space from sunrise to sundown. Also, the mattress is firm. Finally, the hot water is provided via a tankless hot water heater, which has been known to cause water temperature variability.
