Our place is a half mile from downtown Ventura, the beach, great surf, the Botanical Garden hiking trail and the famous Ventura Cross. There are plenty of dining options/bars within walking distance, a convenient market and our favorite trendy coffee spot right across the street. If you are a couple looking for a beach get away, solo adventurer, business traveler or a family looking for a fun place to stay right in the heart of Ventura, you will love it here!

There is a wonderful farmer's market 1/2 block away Thursday afternoons. A short drive away, are polo fields, museums, zoological gardens, Ventura and Santa Barbara missions, Santa Ynez wine country, the Ojai Valley, and so much more. Mountain View from bedroom window and only steps to one of California’s premiere family friendly beaches. Quick walk to world famous “the Spot” burgers but really, it’s all about the beach, it’s like so close! Walking trails in the wetlands are close too, the kids love exploring there. Carp’s got some cool restaurants too, our favorite is Teddy’s by the Sea. Partly because our dog is named Teddy but food’s pretty good too!
