Monthly Rentals in Suðurnesjabær

We have a very nice stay before departing early in the morning to the airport. The neighborhood is lovely and you can walk on a path along the waterfront as well as easily walk to many restaurants.

Jolanta, the host, has amazing vibes. She makes you feel right at home and is so personable and caring. That being said about my favorite host to date: her accommodations are pristinely clean. The apartment/condo is very comfortable and perfect for our family of five. The beds were lovely and the black out curtains allowed for a restful sleep. I saw a rainbow outside at 12:00 am! With a gorgeous and private back deck, the hot tub is filled with the same water that comes from the Blue Lagoon. It is invigorating and repaired our travel weary bodies. I look forward to booking with Mrs. Jolanta again. Iceland is magnificent!

It was everything we expected. Very cozy. Very functional. If you are a light sleeper, the only issue is the four single beds that are upstairs are pretty bright due to not being able to black out all of the beautiful windows and doors. The hosts were great communicators.

Our stay was short but so memorable—we immediately felt at home. The location is stunning, with beautiful views of the sea and Snæfellsnes on a clear day. The birdlife was incredible, with ducks, Arctic terns, and eiders all around. We loved the peaceful setting and the cozy campfire right by the house. Though the home is older, it’s been thoughtfully renovated and felt fresh and bright. The loft was a fun touch (just be mindful of the steep stairs), and being just 10 minutes from the airport made it super convenient. A perfect spot for nature lovers!
