Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sudbury District

I shared this house with my sister & her husband with our 4 children and it was perfect (ages 4 years to 2 months). Very clean, as shown in the pictures and very safe environment. If we need to go back again, we will be booking this house as it was very large spacious for hosting other family members for dinner & fit our families! No TV in the living room, but there is one in each of the bedrooms (but this just encouraged us to play cards and board games)! I recommend Bringing your own cards & board games, as I don’t believe there are any at the house (we couldn’t find them at least)! Otherwise, everything was perfect! Very grateful to have this house to bring our family back together from Niagara and New Brunswick!

This place was as beautiful as the pictures! It is very clean and well kept, everything works, the appliances and electronics are modern. This was a great place to stay during my cancer treatment. It was a peaceful home away from home on a quiet street. Perfect for rest and/or recovery. Highly recommend this place!

I loved the personal check in. The place was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to the University but felt quite secluded, we enjoyed sitting out on the deck and enjoying the surroundings:)

Great few days at Marilee's place. Ideal location, easy to explore Little Current area and wider Manitoulin Island. Everything was as described and matched the photos. Plenty of space and garden was nice to sit out and relax...and talk to the chickens! Marilee was very easy to communicate with and was always responsive.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage! It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - the kitchen was well-stocked, the bed was super comfy, and the fans kept things cool even without AC. Our dog loved the property and swimming too! The location was peaceful and quiet, but still close enough to some beautiful provincial parks for day trips. There’s lots to do at the house - kayaking, canoeing, barbecuing, and enjoying the sunrise/sunset on the deck plus great internet. We'd definitely come back - it was exactly the kind of relaxing escape we needed!

Beautiful cozy house at a great price. It was in pristine condition and really felt at home. Host was super friendly and responsive to my messages. Located about a 7 minute drive from the downtown area. Was super convenient and private. Would definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at the RV. The pool was a perfect spot to relax, so warm and the ambience was fantastic under the stars, and the fire pit made for cozy evenings were lit ❤️ It was wonderful to have a pet friendly environment and we enjoyed having hairy, charley and chewey around us. They were so friendly with us. The houses on the property were an added delight and the ride which paul took us was a memorable lifetime experience for us. Paul was incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a fun and comfotable getaway. You guys are amazing :)

Amazing cottage and stay. Has everything you need and then some. We loved the pool with our little ones and the property and cottage is beautiful

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of the West Bay! Cottage was very clean and well equipped. Friendly, laid back people were staying in nearby cottages and trailers. We went to the Lavigne Tavern down the road for supper and had an excellent meal and service. Likewise, picking up ice cream from the corner store. Very friendly, warm, relaxed town - we'll be back!

What a little slice of heaven! Highly recommend Bowhey's particularly for families. Among the best features: The wraps (totally creative), the access to the dock, the pool (very large pool) and karaoke night (so much fun!). For just a week, I was able to have my son experience life like I did in the 80s and 90s. He met new friends, played games in the pool and outside and just enjoyed a simpler pace. If this is what you're looking for, Bowhey's is for you!

My first time experiencing cottage life. Ian and his family are good hosts. My children loved Ian. This resort felt very safe. The people that were there were very kind and friendly. it was not overwhelming, it was just right. You do have to bring your own pillows and linen. My suggestion, bring a fan. keep you cool at night. There is hot water. Karaoke night was a lot of fun. no judgement. Ian has a big variety of music. If you are coming from the GTA, you are looking at about 5 to 6 hours of travel time depending on traffic. We didn't get to do the trails because our kids wanted to swim in the pool all day. However, there are trails around the area. Canoeing was a lot of fun and the paddle boards were a challenge but a lot of fun too. There is fire wood present for you to use if you want to make a bonfire. There is a convenience store down the street. They sell essential groceries, beer, liquor, first aid and hot food. Some of his cabins have a really good view of the lake.

Angela is very friendly and offers her dog Millie if you need company on your walks - lovely dog. Angela went above and beyond bringing extra groceries for an already well stocked Airbnb. Thank you Angela. I’ll probably be back.

Absolutely loved our stay at Deanna’s Airbnb! The place was fun, cozy, and located in a quiet, peaceful area—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Deanna was super helpful and easy to reach whenever we had questions. Highly recommend!

The location is so peaceful. A slice of paradise set up to enjoy the outdoors with great views, outdoor amenities (plenty of outdoor seating, fire pit, dock, etc). Great for stargazing and catching aurora too (facing north on the lake :)). Beautiful cabin. Pictures don’t do the property justice.

I stayed for 4 nights with my dog in May 2025. We had a great time enjoying the site, property and Shawna’s local recommendations for food and trails. There are tons of trails and stops along water around this spot. My dog and I enjoyed the trail in Mashkinonje Provincial Park (1 minute or less up the road from the Airbnb) and even got to see a bear on that trail! Lots of beaver dams, marsh, mossy rocks to climb over and beautiful trees. There’s a few nice viewpoints along that trail. We had a lovely time exploring the beauty of the area and property. Thanks for a lovely stay!!

Had a great time on Dunlop Lake! Dale and Jess are amazing hosts, and my family and I had made a life time of memories in only a week! Amazing sunrises everyday, canoe trips and fishing daily with the kids. Already planning more trips to Elliot Lake and keeping Dale and Sunrise Bay in mind. A thousand thanks!!

Ali’s place was a perfect spot for a winter weekend getaway. Beautiful cabin in a great location, close to ski trails and ice fishing. The place is well stocked and Ali was very helpful with communication. Would absolutely stay here again.

Very clean and organized, well stocked with basic essentials. Easy check in, quick response from owner. On-site manager stopped in to check to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Justin's place and property residents were welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and just wonderful people .

The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful. They were very accommodating and were always there to help us. The view was gorgeous, the pictures here don't really do it justice. The view from the cabin window was always nice to look out in the morning. The amenities were a nice plus, especially the hot tub and sauna. There were lots of fun outdoor activities here to do, including canoeing, kayaking, and hiking just to name a few. My only minor gripe with this cabin is how cold it can get during nights & mornings. The temperature control was capped at 22 degrees to prevent overusing power. Other than that, I could not recommend this place more if youre looking for a nice nature getaway.
