My mom's place

Heima is a very peaceful apartment located in Ísafjörður. It is located on a quiet street near the mountain. The house is located about 1 km from the main square. Heima is a house owned by a family that built it in 1962. Johann Kroknes, a carpenter from Norway came to Ísafjörður to build this house for his daughter Sigríður that was moving to Ísafjörður after marrying a local shrimp captain, Torfi. We are restoring it to the style that was in the sixties and welcome you to enjoy it with us!

Beautiful family house in central Ísafjörður. It was built in 1898 and was recently renovated by Halla and Óskar, it is the perfect place to stay, relax and enjoy your Westfjords adventure. On the main floor you'll find a kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom with laundry facilities. The 2nd floor consists of two bedrooms; one with a double size bed and another with two single beds. There is also a small shared area with a sleeping sofa and TV. Registration number: HG-00016384

The apartment is recently remodeled with two double bedrooms and large open area for kitchen, dining room and living room. It has large balconies on both sides and a sun lounger. Very comfortable and beautiful apartment and fully equipped kitchen and stylish furniture’s.

Stéphanie was very helpful and responsive to our questions. Her instructions were clear on how to get into the house. We were sharing the space with another couple who were also very kind. We were mainly only there to sleep at night. The only thing we noticed was there was some hairs in our bed which we brushed off before getting in, but other then that everything else was great!

Very nice guest house, well equipped kitchen. Liked the games and books about icelandic nature in the living room. Had a very good sleep :)

Perfect location the house was pristine clean and the person in charge was so very nice.

Very clean and one of the best guesthouses on my trip because: Clean, remote location so it was not busy, instructions were clear. Perhaps a bit more expensive but I felt comfortable.
