One weekend! Beautiful walk with my family 🐶🐶

Our stay at SUMAK was simply wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we felt like a true paradise. The cabin is luxurious and perfectly located in the middle of the trees. The view of the river is spectacular. We rented horses and visited a beautiful 60-meter high waterfall. The tour was awesome. Miguel's recommendations are very good and that's how we got to the "bird concert", where it was amazing to see so many species flying around us. We even had the unique experience of hummingbirds landing in our hands while they fed. All this is very close to the cabin. The cabin's privacy and security made us feel completely comfortable, which is a big plus. The sector looks very safe. They also have agreements with some local restaurants that bring food to the cabin. We definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature.

The lodge is a wonderful place to stay and connect with nature and the local indigenous culture. The family is extremely nice and accommodating, knowledgeable of the region, and very helpful. We truly enjoyed meeting and spending time here. If you are looking for a posh, sterilized vacation, this is not the place for you, however, if you are looking to experience a fascinating peak into the local lifestyle, and immersion into nature you could not find a better place.

I won't be able to write the incredible beauty of the place, the view of the jungle, the infinity pool... the comfort, the cleanliness, the extraordinary kindness of the people on site. i recommend 1500% this magical place right in the jungle, thank you so much for making me discover a place like this, the food was exquisite and the value for money is more than reasonable. We have been using Airbnb for over 7 years in several countries and have never been in such a good place, easy to get to, well designed, well equipped (especially the kitchen), with a Jacuzzi that worked perfectly!, the incredible reception of Mrs. Suzy and Miguel's effective and timely communication.... TOTALLY RECOMMENDED! Before returning to Brazil, we will stay a full weekend!

A beautiful and highly recommended place. The landscapes are very nice and spacious. In the house we were fascinated by the fireplace and the house. Recommended for people traveling alone and with family. Maura is very friendly and open.

This is a great little cabin in an extremely beautiful valley. The views alone are worth the stay. The terabita over the river to access the cabin is fun, and unique. The cabin is not large, and is a little tight for 4 people, but certainly possible. It is well appointed, clean, and the local town is easily accessible, with restaurants, etc. Lots of hummingbirds in the garden at the deck. We enjoyed out time here, and would certainly stay again.

There is no way to describe adequately what a great rental these wonderful hosts make available. The cabin is darling. Made from locally-sourced materials, it is well laid-out with an excellent workspace and WiFi, lovely views, and a hot shower in a cute bathroom. The farm is planted with coffee trees and is nestled in a stunning valley with steep, cloud forested mountains. The birds are prolific. We saw 50 species before lunch on our first day, including a Cock-of-the-Rock and Quetzal. Baeza and Borja are nearby for shopping and the hot springs are only an hour away. The hosts are fabulous and we will be staying in this cabin again!
