The house has everything you need and appears today as a new exclusive modern house. It has 2 bath, bathtub, 4 bedrooms with a big (200cm x180cm) nice bed, modern kitchen, very good WIFI, 65" TV, washing machine and dryer, and an exclusive sauna. Your own private cabin, with the ocean right outside your window. Inside you find three bedrooms, a living room, kitchen and a bathroom. Go outside and enjoy the view from the sea side patio, complete with furniture and a campfire pan. Depending on the season and weather you can see eagles and other birds fly by, or just enjoy the stunning aurora. It´s a 3 minute walk to our small city center with grocery stores, sports shop, a liquor store, pharmacy, hair dressers and a gas station.

Walking distance to mountains and beach. Good opportunities for fishing for sea trout right outside the living room door. Cross country slope 100m from the cottage. Sun from early morning to late evening. The perfect starting point for an active and relaxing Lofoten holiday!

i, for the first time not alone, travelled to norway with my partner. we have arrived a day late because we took the wrong ferry from bodø. after an one hour walk we found ourself in the beautiful nes in hamarøy. we got provided with food for the first days and throughout our every day's breakfast. the place has everything that got listed and even more. there's a lot do discover and a lot of love in every detail. the view is breathtaking and the hot pot is an experience we didn't missed. even without a car we got bikes and we walked a lot. the tides can be seen and experienced daily almost twice, there's a 24/7 grocery store at skutvik and a lot of peace. we saw animals in their wilderness and learned the sound ouf 'the quiet'. whenever we needed something, john-karstein was here for help immediately. we felt home at every second and in good hands. we usually sleep on hard mattress, the bed was very soft but there are bunk beds with hard ones. 10 out of 10, great place and great host!

Hilde‘s home is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. It’s elegant, cozy, warm, beautifully decorated, the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make yourself feel completely at home. There are baskets of sweaters so you can sit warmly on the balcony and watch the water and the light change. She has thought of every detail you might want to be able to relax fully and enjoy this unusual island. She even has binoculars for you to use to watch the birds and any sea animals that might come by. She was helpful, kind and timely in every interaction I had with her. I could stay here happy for a month and perhaps I will another time!

This cabin is THE best place I’ve stayed in! It had all things necessary for a comfortable living, it took us half an hour to figure out stuff but once we got the hang of it, it was just magical. Birger and Martin are excellent hosts, the collection they have at this place is unmatched and something which impressed me a lot. 11/10 recommended!

My fiance and I spent the most incredible week in Lofoten at Telma’s cabin during the polar night! Grunnforfjord is absolutely spectacular in the winter season and we completely fell in love with the scenery, the wildlife and the northern lights displays which we had on pretty much every evening of our stay. The cabin has everything you could need and the wood burner kept us warm throughout. The separate annexe has some of the best views you could wake up to and we even had an otter walk past the window. We will certainly be coming back to Lofoten in the spring/summer months and if you are looking for a peaceful retreat this is the best we have experienced so far!

This was our first time in Lofoten. Everything exceeded our expectations. The house was absolutely gorgeous. We wish we could have spent more time in the chairs, looking out the windows, but unfortunately had too much to do. We did tons of driving, but it was a great location for us.

The cabin is positioned near the water's edge, framed by large rounded rocks and surrounded by lush greenery. Large windows create an open feel, providing views of the serene landscape. The still water reflects the cabin and the trees in the background.

We felt very comfortable here from the first moment. The location is unique and we would have liked to stay longer. Maybe it will work out that we will come back in the summer. It was really fantastic. Cleanliness and amenities were also impeccable.
