The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Bay Cottage

A quiet place by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. Luxury cottage in stunning surroundings.

Luxury summerhouse from 2022 in lovely surroundings with a great view, located in a secluded spot with an incredibly rich wildlife. You can meet hares right outside the house, and birds build nests around the grasslands. There are 12 beds in the house, plus 2 travel beds for toddlers, but plenty of room for extra mattresses on the floor. From July 2023 it is possible to rent access to the jacuzzi for 6 people for an additional fee. 1000kr for 1 day, the following days it costs 500kr per day.

Unique cozy cottage

Lovely little cottage in a quiet environment, while still only a 25 min walk to the city center of Tórshavn. Free busses drive to the center and the stop is only a 8 min walk away. There are horses, sheep, geese and hens right outside. P.S. This place does not have a formal address. The location on the photo by google maps is correct, but the name of the address is not. When you arrive in the Faroe Islands, please contact me :)

Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is a rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people

One night stay, but we felt like at home immediately. Everything you need is there, spotless clean and well prepared. The view after waking up works better than morning coffee. Agnes gave us detailed instructions how to open and close the door properly and was keen to help. Note: if you get there with maps, take into account that the house is located in the second line from the road (right behind the red house).

Wow! One of the coziest places I’ve ever been. It’s a beautiful old house with a modern bathroom and kitchen, a gorgeous view and all the amenities you could think of. We even got to try some local beer! Jákup was very friendly and always quick to respond. Húsavik is a bit difficult to get to, but it is very worth it as a tranquil retreat for a few days.

This is a tremendous, modern house, spotlessly clean and airy, in a quiet neighborhood with great views out into the harbor. Everything is new, and everything works perfectly. Restaurants (including the lovely Cafe MorMor) are a short drive away. Internet was exceptionally fast, and if you want it, you can pay to use the hot tub beside the house. It’s a superb property and a super value, especially for a small to medium size group.

A dramatic coastal landscape features a steep cliffside with lush green grass and a small cluster of houses in the distance. A waterfall cascades down into the ocean, with the expansive sea visible below under a cloudy sky.

We had a great time staying at Jona's place. The house is a real warm cocoon where you are always happy to come back after a day spent outside. It is steeped in history and filled with details that make it charming. Being able to stay in a typical house is a real plus! The view is a real pleasure at any time of the day. Ana’s place is amazing, especially the view! We loved being close to supermarkets and tourist attractions (the new tunnel to Sandoy was a highlight!) but also being able to come back and relax in peaceful surroundings. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the deck and also in the hot tub and looking at the view (I think we got a bit obsessed with the activity at the fish farm!). The ceilings in the bedroom are low but didn’t cause an issue. Ana is also super welcoming and helpful with any issues you may have!

We had a great two weeks of time and the kids could play around and it was very peaceful. The place is also very equipped. The check-in was very easy and Jan was very helpful with information. We will definitely come back again.
