Hello and welcome to Mt Definace Cabin, part of the Nelson Creek Cabin vacation rentals! Our property is nestled on 2 quiet acres with views of the Columbia River and surrounding Cascade mountains. Skamania Lodge, Bridge of the Gods, Mt. Hood, Dog Mountain, Multnomah Falls, White Salmon, Hood River and Portland are just a few close destinations. Plenty of parking for boats and RV's. Mt Defiance cabin is a comfortable place where you can escape, relax and unwind in this beautiful setting.

Our incredible homestead nestled in the woods is the perfect place to make memories. Make it a getaway in the Gorge. Step outside for a walk in the woods or along the river where peace and beauty will surround you. Trails and rivers are all in the backyard! Take an authentic Finnish wood fired sauna with hot water and cold plunge (add as an extra) or gaze at the grand stone fireplace after watching the salmon spawning on the river. Possibilities for local recreation in the gorge also abound.

We chose to share our guest house primarily because the idea of sharing our stunning view appeals to us very much. We are so fortunate to have a view so special that we wanted to build a guest house for our friends and you! We designed our 600 square foot modern guest house with the intent of creating a very private honeymoon suite. It’s the perfect spot to get away from city life, but an easy drive if you want to enjoy what the surrounding towns have to offer!

We've recently renovated this private retreat to keep our visiting friends and family comfortable.
