Vacation rentals with a kayak in Stephens County

Jonathan was a great host, very responsive and helpful throughout. His instructions were very clear and he was always friendly. The place is lovely. The neighborhood is peaceful, the lake is beautiful, the view is great. The house was immaculate, super clean and nicely decorated without having too many things. The mattresses were the best we've slept on in any airBnB, by far! The private dock is wonderful, with chairs and water toys, it was such a joy to spend time there at all times of day.

Rob was an incredible host. So communicative, friendly and attentive. The house is cozy and spacious. The basement set-up is awesome. Would definitely stay again.

My wife and I are working professionals and we wanted to get away (we both work in Atlanta). We like 2-to-3 day getaways and this was perfect. It's quiet and serene and everything we wanted! We love the river and kayaking - it's crazy to just walk down and you're on the water. Our first morning, we just enjoyed tea and the nature. Breathing in that clean air, it was like cleaning our minds, getting away from the city and concrete, and reconnecting with the wild. It was the recharge we needed! The home theater was awesome - we almost fell asleep in those sofas; very comfy. Thank you, Bryan, for hosting us. We love this place and will come back up again. God bless!

The setting was beautiful and the house pristine and furnished nicely. We were only there for 2 nights for my son's graduation from college, so we did not get to take advantage of the dock and lake, nor the wonderful deck and screened porch. It was still a great place to stay, and I think if you were looking for a lake house getaway it would more than meet your expectations. Even though it feels like you're tucked away on the lake, you're only about 15-20 minutes from grocery stores, gas stations, and restaurants.

We had a fantastic time during our stay at this air bnb. The view was beautiful and the house was absolutely gorgeous. We loved our stay to celebrate our son’s 1 year birthday with our family and friends. We will definitely be visiting again in the future.

We loved the cabin! It was the perfect place to relax as a family and just be together. We can't wait to come back!

It was an amazing place great water access great surroundings just once it hit night the older neighbors would not stop watching us but other then that it was an amazing place

Wonderful rental with everything you need. Lake and dock were amazing. It was so quiet and relaxing. Comfortable beds and everything you need to feel right at home, even had games and things for entertainment when you needed a break from the water.

Stayed for about 3 weeks for work and enjoyed the area. Very peaceful location right on the water. Felt right at home the whole time

Truly a marvel. We were looking for a quiet mountain hideaway and found it. It had everything we could ask for from kayaks, canoeing, fishing campfire even a s'more stick. Cozy enough for my family and I and close to all the Waterfalls. I am very happy with this place and would be happy to stay again.

We had a wonderful relaxing week at the lake. The house was inviting and cozy and stocked with everything we needed. The exterior was very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. Mary was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

This was the ULTIMATE water sport place to be. I have 3 boys that tore it up like crazy. It felt like every water sport thing you could ever want was there. And the location was phenomenal. My only slight critique is clutter, but I am a minimalist. Highly recommend.

A lovely spot on Hartwell. We really enjoyed our time at this lakeside cottage and loved the views of the lake from the screened-in porch. It's perfect for a couples getaway or even a small family. We had everything we needed throughout our stay :) – beds were comfortable, plenty of bath towels were provided, and our hosts really thought of everything. Would absolutely stay at Bryan and Gina's lake home again!

Super easy to get in and out and worked out well over thanksgiving. They have great lake access so we need to return in summer!

There is a lot to do in the area but we always find ourselves just settling in and relaxing on the dock or the water! We can’t wait to come back next year!

Nestled in the woods overlooking a private pond, this home a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city or anytime you need some peace and quiet. We were in town for a wedding at one of the local wineries. Perfect for our group of 10.

Wonderful cabin in a great location. Everything was extremely clean. The kitchen had everything needed to make meals. Would definitely book again if in the area.

This place is a gem. We loved the peaceful atmosphere on the lake and played lots of board games and cooked a ton in their amazing kitchen. Their coffee game is on point with multiple ways to brew. Highly recommend this spot.

Great spot on the lake! The living area and outdoor areas are perfect for a group to enjoy. The kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal including seasonings. The dock is great and it’s on a cove so the water is calm and safe for swimming. The nearby town of Hartwell is awesome too. Jonathan and Madison were excellent hosts, very friendly and communicative plus easy going. Highly recommend!

Our Family of 9 enjoyed our time together at the Lizard Lodge Lake house. There was plenty of room for us all, and beds were very comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen to make meals in. It is located in quiet community with lots of wildlife. I’m glad I brought my binoculars for birdwatching. The hot tub was amazing as well. The kids Loved the lake! Highly recommend.

Exceptional accomodations. We arrived and enjoyed the dock on the lake with a glass of wine. it's a very calm, peaceful and relaxing location. the house is perfect, extremely clean and well kept. everything is organized and easy to use. including a kitchen spices, coffee filters and ice. we stayed here for a work trip; 3 adults. each professional had their own private bedroom and bathroom. it was well sorted and payed out so we had the comfortable vibe of a relaxing space of home but had our own personal areas. it was an epic alternative to a hotel. we used th BBQ grill for dinner and loved it's use. wrapped the evening with a fire - the host had even stacked the sticks in the fire pit so it was already for us to use. again, everything well currated, clean and easy. I hope to return again on vacation. it's perfect for a few nights and or a week stay. very safe and quiet neighborhood, respectful. highly recommend! I travel often and this is a gem!

Peaceful and relaxing is what t our family felt once we arrived. We had 10 guests at the lake house and all were accommodated. We had a blast! Our daughter’s high school graduation getaway was a huge success. Thank you to Brandi for her quick responses and assistance throughout our stay. I read reviews prior to booking which stated Brandi was responsive as well as proactive. All I can say is, it’s all true. Brandi was an excellent host, we were missing a paddle for a kayak. We let Brandi know as per instruction and she followed through by ordering a new kayak paddle. It arrived an hour after we asked, truly awesome! The water level was shallow, safe for our 5 year old granddaughter to enjoy all the water activities as well, definitely a plus. I’ll say it again, if we could hug you we would. We had a memorable, wonderful time with family. What better place than at a lake house. We booked during the Memorial Day Weekend.
