Simple and peaceful accommodation in a central location. Has a cabin for rent of about 50 m2. The space is majestically located in the municipality of North-Aurdal at the top of the birth road. You get the feeling of being “alone in the whole world” despite 7 minutes to Fagernes city. Mindful. About 2.5 hours drive towards Valdres from Oslo. There is electricity and wood burning. There is one bedroom and living room with sofa bed, dining room and bathroom with shower. There is a bio toilet inside the bathroom. Steep hill to the cabin. Must go 40m. For 2-4 pers.

Olav the Holy lived for 6 days on the Listad in 1021 to prepare a meeting with Dale-Gudbrand during the Christianization of Norway. Water in the tap is from "Olavskilden". Beautifully situated log cabin 10 minutes by car from the centre of Lillehammer. There are a number of nice hiking trails near the cottage. A short distance to the Birkebeineren ski stadium which has a large network of ski slopes. 15 minutes drive to Nordseter and about 20 minutes drive to Sjusjøen with great ski slopes. Hoppbakken is only a 3 minute drive from the cabin. For alpine skiing you have Hafjell which is 25 minutes away and Kvitfjell 1 hour away.

Here the whole family can enjoy the tranquility of beautiful surroundings. In winter, there is no running water inside. Nice skiing opportunities right outside the door in the winter and great cycling opportunities in the summer. Great starting point for mountain hikes both small/easy trips to the larger top hikes. Beitostølen and the entrance gate to Jotunheimen are only 45 min drive from the cottage. Lots of great fishing opportunities nearby.
