House vacation rentals in Steenwijk

We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

We had a fantastic time with Astrid and Chris! Everything was possible and nothing was too crazy! We enjoyed the house, the sweet dogs, the heated pool, the hot tub, the pizza hut and the great welcome and all the coziness! It is a lovely house and with nice sofas and great fireplace and cozy decor. We are very grateful for this fantastic family weekend together. Thank you!!

Everything was great! We felt very comfortable. The accommodation is really perfect for switching off for a few days. Since the weather was not good with us, unfortunately we could not do so much, but otherwise there are nice outdoor activities. :)

We were there in June as a group of four – despite the rain and colder temperatures, we were able to enjoy our stay totally thanks to the sauna and the heated pool, which was our highlight! We were very warmly welcomed, the accommodation is really great – we can only recommend it and will definitely come back. The adjacent forest is great for walking and Groningen and Leeuwarden are each just under 30 minutes by car.

The house is beautifully decorated and was very clean when we arrived. The bottle of wine and the snack basket to welcome us made us very happy. However, the location is very remote. We wanted to use the campsite facilities with our children and had to take the car every time. In addition, it is very noisy and the blackout blinds are not completely tight. All factors that make the stay with children not quite optimal. We also did not get the hot tub to temperature after 5 hours of heating. Nevertheless, I would recommend the accommodation for couples at any time!

A lovely place! Enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, thanks to the playground and the pool a Valhalla for children. The cottage has all the comforts, spacious bedrooms, wonderful kitchen and very nice garden. We were here in the spring, but I can totally imagine that it is enjoyable every season. With a group of friends of 5 people, we stayed three nights in this AirBnB on a small-scale park. There were few other guests in the park, so we could enjoy the nice jacuzzi and garden. Unfortunately, for the (unheated) pool, the temperature outside was just a bit too cold. Inside is a lot of space, the cottage is much larger in terms of seating space than for 5-6 people. The beds (a total of 6 sleeping places) were excellent. With two refrigerators, six burners (gas stove) and a spacious dishwasher, the kitchen was also great, although unfortunately there was no towel or tea towel available to dry the hands and small dishes. It is also nice that there are two toilets (one of which is separate), but the door to the bathroom with toilet cannot be locked and does not close completely. Arrival is fine, with some information from the host in advance via the app and on site instructions to get to the right cottage at the small bungalow park. All in all a great stay in a nice area!

It was all to our complete satisfaction! Exactly what we imagined for our honeymoon. It was quiet and relaxed, you could really unwind there. The house was very high quality and clean. Simply chic! We felt very comfortable. Natalia was always available, you always felt well taken care of. She also always informed us about possible activities or restaurants and Lolale. Nothing negative can be said! It was just perfect!

We spent a wonderful week in this fantastically beautiful vacation home! Together with friends, our children and their children, we were able to enjoy the tranquility and nature to the fullest. The house is very tastefully decorated, absolutely clean and leaves nothing to be desired – you immediately feel comfortable. The surroundings are idyllic and perfect for families: on the adjacent pasture, the children were allowed to visit sheep and move freely. They were also particularly enthusiastic about the orchard, where we were allowed to pick to our heart's content. There is a cozy restaurant nearby, fresh honey from your own beekeeper and eggs from the chickens right on site – simply wonderful! The hostess was very friendly, spoke very good German and was particularly warm in dealing with the children. We felt completely welcome and can recommend this place without reservation.

What a gem! Truly had a wonderful stay at Jen and Robs vacation house. We enjoyed all amenities like the sauna and the whirlpool and we’re happy to make use of the fully equipped kitchen. We were 6 grown-ups and 2 under 2s and the weather was really not good. And yet we had enough space and the close by waterpark also has an indoor playground. Definitely would recommend!

We had a great time, what a beautiful cottage and a beautiful location! Nice and quiet, nice for hiking and biking! The cottage had all the comforts!!

we had a lovely time in the house and think it's a special place. The closet beds were great for the kids and we really enjoyed having plenty of space in the kitchen and living room.

This is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful and calm surroundings, the house has everything you can wish for. From a fully equipped kitchen, to good beds and a fireplace. The house is easily located and is nearby places worthwhile to visit, like forests, wildlife observability and the Royal Palace. We can definitely recommend a stay here.

Marjolens little cabin is a delightful place from which to enjoy Giethoorn - walking or boating distance to the shops and the lake, yet quiet, private and peaceful. I would stay again!

We had a wonderful time at Ton and Lizette’s place. The house and surroundings were even nicer than the photos. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away. They even included a few dog treats to also welcome our dog. He really lived his best life exploring outside. We felt relaxed and enjoyed taking walks in nature. The bed was so comfortable with the adjustable settings and reading lamps. We were sad to leave, but we look forward to going back!

We had a great time in Sneek and the place was just perfect for us. Plenty of space, everything you need was available and really tasteful and yet practically furnished. The terrace and whirlpool are special highlights and Petra spoiled us with small snacks and cold drinks upon arrival. The location of the house is great, you can walk very quickly to the city center with many restaurants as well as the supermarket and yet it is quiet and we were able to sleep relaxed. We were also allowed to use the bicycles and took a small tour. All around beautiful!

Super nice apartment, nice quiet and clean. Perfectly located, parking in front of the door, in a parking garage and it was not expensive. You can walk into the city in no time. Where you will arrive in the beautiful city center of Zwolle. The jumbo is within walking distance, easy for when you want to eat or have a drink in the apartment, etc. In short, a great stay!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing vacation in Geert's cozy cottage. It is very idyllic and quiet, located directly on a small lake, and we were able to unwind wonderfully. Geert was easy to reach and friendly. Everything was very clean and tidy. We liked it so much that we booked the next vacation directly with Geert.
