Tiny house vacation rentals in State of Mexico

The three of us had a wonderful, peaceful retreat. We learned to cook some of the local cuisine. Enjoyed floating in the pools and stream, massages, walks in the forest, sustainable architecture with bamboo and thatched roofs. The compound is astonishingly beautiful in its natural beauty. We can't say enough about the hospitality of the host and her cooking and knowledge. The peacocks were particularly enjoyable to watch, we never minded their calls. We also found the steps a good daily exercise for us. It was a perfect stay for us who enjoy nature and the sustainable ways in which we engage with it. We also visited the nearby villages and city of Cuernavaca and the archeological site of Xochicalco, which we loved.

The house is very nice to rest and spend it as a family, the pool was always with warm water, and everything is close to buying food around the house. Gaby was super attentive and very kind.

Cristina's place is a little oasis amongst the bustle of little Tepo. It is secluded and further away from the square, but easy to access and get to. We visited for a friend's wedding and loved the fact that we could return to a place that was far from the chaos. The house is as described and pictured, clean, and easily accessible. The property is well taken care of and Abu, the resident doggo, is a bonus :) We'd definitely stay at Cristina's again. Thank you for the hospitality.

It was an incredible experience and was everything that was promised and more. Hector and his family are the kindest and most welcoming people. Me and my fiancée both really enjoyed our stay at his place and will be definitely coming back soon

The house and garden are beautiful. The garden is very nice to take out the table and have breakfast out there. The only thing we didn't foresee was bringing drinking water and we needed a pot to boil water, but it was easy to get out with the car and find a grocery store nearby. We rested beautifully. Juan was very hospitable.

Heavenly stay at Luis's, in this house perched on Monte Alto. I have rarely had the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful and peaceful place. When the weather is nice, the sun's rays give this house a movie-like look. And when it rains, the sound of the drops on the large bay windows puts you in a state of unparalleled relaxation. Surrounded by hiking spots, this Airbnb is made for lovers of nature and authentic things. Luis is also very nice and accommodating in terms of check-in and check-out times. Always very responsive. This place is now one of my favorite places on Earth.

I liked everything, I only stayed one night and it was amazing. At night the temperature drops quite low but there are enough blankets for that. Leonardo is a great person, he was always attentive and clarified all doubts.

Incredible treatment from Emilio, more than a rental, we felt like we came home, a friend's complaint, everything was very good, without a doubt it is worth visiting this house, since everything you have to see in this beautiful region of Valle / Avandaro is very close

Victor's flat is a tremendous deal. You could not ask for more in this price range. It is a comfortable lived in space with character. It is private and there are various spaces to hang out in. You can get your morning coffee in a number of cafes on the block. The bus is a half block away. The park is nearby and always bustling. The new Mural museum and many others are within walking distance. One thing to consider is Victor's flat is in a courtyard building and there are a number of businesses that share the space so it is not exactly quiet during business hours. That said, I still feel it is worth the stay. I stayed for two weeks and kept discovering more the area had to offer.

From the moment we arrived, we loved the place, our 1-year-old son enjoyed it very much, we spent a few very quiet days. The apartment is amazing 😊

The place is just as it looks in photos. It's ideal for resting and spending some time relaxing. Sandro was always very attentive and helpful. He answered immediately. A very nice white lady welcomed us. We will be back without thinking.

Easy to get to by any transport, whether public or personal car, good location and beautiful views, surrounded by trees and nature, its aesthetics are very nice and its lighting atmosphere is very calm, you can eat comfortably on the terrace.

Everything excellent, a spectacular place

This cabin is extremely comfortable for 2 adults. The space is well used and you don't feel locked up. The area has a practically private lake and a lot of tranquility, you can make campfires and have the car in a safe place. Highly recommended!

I’d rate my stay a 4.3/5, compared to other 5-star Airbnbs I’ve stayed in. The listing is as advertised—open layout, great natural light, and a beautiful terrace with solid views and well-kept plants. The bed was comfortable, with essential kitchen amenities and the outdoor space was a big plus. House rules were easy to follow. The location has nice local markets, coffee shops, and breakfast spots nearby. You’ll likely need to use Didi/Uber (50–150 MXN) to get around, but it’s not far from the airport. The hosts communicated well when I had a question. That said, two things affected my stay: there was a very loud party next door until 5 AM, and the hot water didn’t work during my time there. I believe these were unfortunate timing issues, not standard for this place. Overall, it's a well-designed stay with great potential. If those issues hadn’t come up, this easily could’ve been a 5-star experience.
