Chalet Mont-Bear

Absolutely beautiful area and gorgeous home that is meticulously maintained! If you want a place to stay that is away from it all you can’t bear this home. It was very clean. There is Owls Head golf course just down the road which is beautiful with spectacular view and a great restaurant. There is a small grocery store very close in Mansonville along with a nice coffee shop and another great restaurant. Honestly just driving around the dirt roads in Mansonville, Potton and Highwater will literally take your breath away, the views are unmatched. There is plenty to do within 30-60 minutes (especially if you like the outdoors) but why would you ever want to leave this place. If you need somewhere to get away and clear your head look no further, this is it!

Cottage for rent near Lac Massawippi

Family of five stayed for Easter weekend. We enjoyed the place and found it very comfortable and well appointed. Great location and comfy beds. Nice outdoor space and we loved the gas fireplace since it’s still cool at night. We will be back!

Le Chalet du Coin #300538

LeaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This cottage is the best equipped we have seen to date! The kitchen had everything to make full and elaborate meals, including 2 fondue sets, a BBQ, and plenty of dishes. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable; the bathroom was clean, with washer and dryer, not to mention the many towels, washcloths, etc. provided; the cottage is also equipped with a wood burning stove that was ready to be turned on when we arrived. The cottage is located in a lovely very quiet area, next to Lake Massawippi and a cycling/hiking path that leads on one side to the village (and a children's playground). The village of Ayers Cliff is also very cute and well located in relation to the sitrs of interest in the region. In short, we could not have asked for better and would not hesitate to return!

We had a nice stay at this charming ancestral home. It was a great space. Nice outdoor patio and porch to relax with a coffee or glass of wine! Large open concept with a great functional kitchen with lots of amenities. Comfy beds too! Perfect for our girls getaway! I would definitely recommend staying here!

Chalet Trémolo (View of Lake Lyster and Mont Pinacle)

MarjolaineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a pleasant stay with the family in this small haven of peace disconnected from the city and noise. This small cottage matched our expectations perfectly and the size was perfect for a couple with 2 children! We had hot, cold and rainy weather and the temperature of the cottage adapts very well whatever the weather. Everything is very well equipped until the little details we wouldn't think of for our comfort! Logout and a change of scenery guaranteed! That's what we were looking for 😊

Beautiful home with spa, pool, fire pit, game room

CaroleRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Michael and Shayna are great and responsive hosts. The house is as beautiful, airy and large as per the pictures. It is absolutely impeccably clean! The kitchen is fantastic! The location is calm and private with nice landscaping, birds and even a mini pond with frogs. At night, we heard the loons. There are many varied spaces to discover and enjoy, inside and outside, such as the inviting large game room, the pretty solarium or the outside decks. We went kayaking in the interesting bay and had fun going under the covered bridge and to Whetstone island. We opted to use the nearby boat ramp at Forand park as an easier way to put the kayak in the water. There is a walkable small access to the bay which is a good place to bring paddle boards. It was still early in the season and the small deck wasn't installed yet. Finally, we enjoyed getting smoked fish at Keet Baird just a little down the street. Thank you for the great escape and welcoming us in you house!

The Loft

MelanieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Larry's place was exactly what we needed. We only stayed one night, but wished we had longer to stay. Larry was extremely clear in describing how to get there, communicated some important details to us, and when we needed some help, was very fast and helpful. I love the unique feel of the woodwork inside the loft apartment, and we enjoyed the extremely quiet surroundings. I highly recommend this place!
