Adjacent to the lobby, there's a fantastic café where you can enjoy delicious meals anytime. The scenery outside changes with every time frame. Sometimes, the clouds are thick, resembling large cotton candies; other times, they are scattered, making it feel like living in the clouds. Even on rainy days, it's still very picturesque. Coupled with Hermès blankets and tableware, any photo taken looks beautiful, almost as if they've been Photoshopped, all with an Ins-vibe. As it's primarily for my parents' vacation stay. Magpie Cottage is a brand new, well appointed, sun filled space nestled in the back corner of our quiet residential block surrounded by trees and birdsong. It is close to Abbotsleigh, Barker, Knox, Loreto and the Sydney Adventist Hospital. Conveniently located near the entry/exit of the M1 at Normanhurst, great to break a long journey. It is close to cafes, one within a 500m walk. Normanhurst Train station is 4 min by car and a 15min walk. Westfield Hornsby can be reached by train or car.

Cute and quirky 3-bedroom 1920's cottage

Cicada Glen Cottage is a beautiful, unique place to stay. The cottage is situated at the rear of a semi rural property that is home to a native nursery and bush regeneration business. It is an 8 minute drive to Mona Vale and the beach. The cottage was built in the 1920s with many of the original features retained giving it a very quirky character. Unfortunately the cottage isn't suitable for children under 12 yrs due to the water features and vintage glass used in the original windows.
