Convenient to the beauty and attractions of the mid-coast. Camden, Boothbay and Rockland are a short drive. Watch eagles, seals, and an abundance of wildlife, as lobster and sailboats ply the waters to the harbor entrance.

Quiet Cove Cottage Retreat

Stay in your quiet respite on rural Harrington Cove! Just a 15 minute car ride will get you to Rockland, where you can find the Blues and Lobster Festivals, great restaurants, the Farnsworth Museum, Light Houses and other Midcoast Maine attractions. You can enjoy a short walk down the road along the tidal cove to check the tide coming and going. If you'd like, go for a walk or run on nearby Rackliff Island. We're happy to share additional recommendations on things to do and places to eat.

A lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet and private setting. A deck overlooks the cove and is great for viewing the abundant and varied bird life, that includes bald eagles, osprey, loons, cormorants and various species of ducks. At times you may also see harbor seals pursuing schools of fish in the cove. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and also has cooling and a whole house standby generator. NOTE: We allow dogs but not cats at the property. SMOKING IS PROHIBITED ON THE PROPERTY!

Our stay at Minwood Cottage was super comfortable and fun! It was so quiet at this location but close to all the things we wanted to do and places we wanted to visit. There’s so much history in this area; we loved the info provided along with Pam’s connections to the people and activities available in the area. Pam’s home is very cute! The deck and seating areas are perfectly placed for a family gathering as well as a quiet coffee and relaxing time to read. A fire in the large stone fire pit is cozy and feels very safe! Everywhere you look outside is a gorgeous vista; inlets and coves, coastlines of rugged rocks and fishing docks, osprey and heron. The local fishermen can be heard as the sun rises getting ready for a day at work in the bays and ocean nearby. I highly recommend staying with Pam!

Loved our stay. we found plenty of good places to eat and lots to do. within driving distance of many beautiful and fun places. Fresh lobsters right off the boat made it the perfect ending to a perfect vacation. Would love to come back again!

We had a great stay at the Tea House. The views are lovely from the deck. We enjoyed Port Clyde and appreciated that it's a little off the beaten track since we were there in the height of the tourist season. You can walk to the ferry that takes you over to Mohegan Island. It was a great find!

My mother and sister loved Wendy's house for a mother/daughter long weekend! My mother raved about the decorations, especially the window curtains. Comfortable beds, with plenty of room and everything they needed for a great weekend!

The owner Trish was there to greet me when I arrived and showed me around. The house is literally in the woods and is a little rustic and very charming. The kitchen was very clean and very well stocked with modern amenities. This was my first time in Maine and the house was everything I hoped for.

The "Fish House": Salt Water Cove Carriage House

The Fish House was the perfect getaway! Located in a quiet, private neighborhood, the house has a cozy living room with a great view of the water and a sufficient kitchen and bedroom for 2 - the Adirondack chairs by the water and tennis courts down the road were huge bonuses. Chris and Bill (and Tilly) were extremely welcoming and communicative before arriving and throughout our stay. This place is a hidden gem and I’d highly recommend it!
