Welcome to Ravens' Crossing , an 1850's farm located in Midcoast Maine in Appleton. With two guest cottages to choose from, you will find yourself in a peaceful, quiet space. Hot tub is working! Breakfast is $40, delivered to your cabin. Shared bath at studio, short walk from cabin; out-house at cabin Whether you choose to receive massage, relax in the sauna, stay in a cottage, you can decide how your retreat desires may be met. Retreat cabin is off-grid. There is a studio apartment for guests

Fox and Bird Retreat on Davis Stream

Our off-the-grid, solar-powered cottage is nestled within our 18 acres in the town of Washington, Maine. The cottage borders a beautiful stream, is surrounded by tall pines and is several hundred feet away from our home, providing a very private and serene experience. Guests can wander or snowshoe on our property, relax in the screen house next to the cottage or hang by the accessible fire pit. We are close to many local lakes and hiking trails and only 30 minutes from Camden & Rockland.

Beautiful hand built cabin, overlooking Cotton Pond. Ten minutes from Camden, the sailing mecca of the east coast. Solar lights, (we are off the grid) gravity fed kitchen water, gas-hot water outdoor shower, outhouse overlooking the forest. Hiking trails everywhere! Swimming across the road on Hobbs Pond. If you book in November, there is a possibility that if it gets cold, you will not have a hot outdoor shower and will use water from a 5 gallon ceramic container for drinking and cooking.

Loon Nest

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Newly built, luxurious details and peaceful. Listen to the loons while you sit on the deck or by the firepit. Parking pass included for the beautiful town beach at Marshall's Shore just down the road. Centrally located to the popular coastal towns for a day trip, or stay in Liberty and visit the local attractions, live music and Trivia nights at the Lake Saint George Brewery, they also have kayak rentals. and don't forget John's Ice Cream!

This beautiful home is set perched in the trees on Lake St George, there is a large granite staircase to access the lake. Convenient location, close to store, restaurant, brewery and Ice cream!! Home has 100 ft of lake frontage. Great location for family hang out. Open floor plan. Lots of space to spread out. Set back off the road the home provides lots of parking. Kayaks and life jackets available. Ramp available for wheelchair entry as well as first floor bedroom & bathroom.

The Barn

I call my place "The Barn" because as I was finishing it it took the shape and feel of a barn. It's not a barn. It's a quiet post and beam open concept building (a Jamaica Cottages kit) set among the fields of Appleton, Maine. You'll sleep in the loft or on a futon on the main floor. The bathroom is huge, 10X10, with a heated floor. It's an open concept kitchen and living space. From Appleton you are 20 miles away from the tourist destinations of Camden, Rockland, and Belfast.

Woodland Cabin with Pond Frontage

10x12' cabin has a queen sized bed in a sleeping loft is just a five minute walk from the Pond . Absolute privacy in a woodland setting . Our pond 650’ of pond frontage is shared with no one else. You will be the only ones with access to it. Off grid , no running water. We provide 5 gallons outside for dishes, and 2 gallons inside for cooking. Bring your own cooler. . Solar powered led lights inside , Primitive composting toilet is located in an outhouse.

Birch Hill Cabin w/Hot Tub

Birch Hill Cabin is set on the side of a hill, surrounded by almost 8 acres of woods. The cabin is 288 square feet, and the bathroom is detached and located approximately 20 feet from the cabin. A hot tub is conveniently located off the deck for ultimate relaxation! This cabin is tucked away, surrounded by nature! But also conveniently located to so many wonderful spots in the Midcoast! Come enjoy the peace and quiet, where you can rest and recharge!

Cozy Lakefront Cabin in Freedom, ME

Our secluded, very quiet and private two bedroom cabin with loft features a bug-free screened-in porch on its large deck. The cabin overlooks peaceul Sandy Pond, inhabited by bald eagles, loons, and herons. Watch beautiful sunrises and sunsets, fish and kayak from our dock. We're close to coastal Belfast, Unity, MOFGA (annual Common Ground Fair), Waterville, Acadia and Camden. Eat at The Lost Kitchen, visit the Amish, hike the Hills to Sea Trail.
