Chris was an incredibly gracious host. We connected after our family had a really rough time with another host. He went out of his way to ensure our family of 6 felt comfortable and welcome. I deal with a consistent amount of intensity in my career, and Chris' place gave us the escape and serenity that our family needed. He was always responsive and available when we had questions, yet very professional and kind. I would highly recommend this vacation home due to equal parts the accommodations themselves, but also the level of service that Chris adds to it all. I would absolutely stay again! The hosts were very responsive to our inquiries before we booked, which made our decision to stay there very easy. Our weekend was meant to be a quiet, private getaway, and we got exactly that! From our arrival to the last day of our stay we had everything that we needed. This attention to detail on their part meant that we did not need to contact them for anything and is the key to why they deliver on their promise of a private, stress free getaway. They make sure the cabin is completely clean, the rental and amenities are exactly as described on the site, they add nice touches that let you know they have prepared for and expected your arrival, they give you the access code to let yourselves in, and they make sure that anything you may need is stocked and available beyond what you may need for your stay. In our case, we stayed 3 days and had more than enough towels, linens for that time. We truly enjoyed our stay and will be back again, without a doubt.

What a delightful property and cabin! Lots of charm and character, beautiful view of the lake and plenty of space indoor and out for our group of 8 people and 2 dogs. Lots of leashes on the property for the dogs. Well stocked kitchen, with some staples and a few bonus treats. The local beach is rocky and was not really useable when we were there due to an algae bloom, but it is a short drive to the soft sands of Grand Beach and Hillside. Check with the hosts before hand as to whether the local water is drinkable, seems to shift, but they supplied some drinking water. The boardwalk hike through the fen nearby was pleasant and easy (3.6 km, nice signs, well care for), and we enjoyed biking the shaded flat forest TransCanada trail with the bikes we brought. There is a park nearby for kids, with horseshoe pits and a volleyball net. Amanda and Ian were always very responsive if we had questions. We very much enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at Marcia’s cabin the first week of April, as I wanted a peaceful and relaxing spring break getaway. The cabin is perfect for a quiet retreat - cozy with everything needed. The weather when I was there was mild winter weather, and although there was still lots of snow, I enjoyed sitting in the sunshine on Marcia’s beautiful back deck. This cabin is pet-friendly and my little beagle loved the fenced backyard. The cabin is two blocks from the lake, and we walked nightly to view the sunset over the vast snowy landscape. The cabin had everything I needed, including soft luxurious bedding, coffee bar, wood stove, and the relaxation that comes with a cozy wood cabin. I hope to return either in the summer months when the lakes and parks are active, or again in late winter when seeking rest and relaxation.

Great place to stay with 3 bedrooms and perfect for 4 guys ice fishing. The 1.5 bathroom was great for getting ready or morning calls. Lots of room for fishing gear and winter clothes. The kitchen was great for making all our meals along with a big fridge.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin! The lake/beach was beautiful! So peaceful and relaxing. It was a bit smaller than we expected but we managed fine! A few things needed fixing and could have been cleaner but overall we had a great time and spent quality time with our family. The hubby and sons were out catching fish right in front of the cabin! Fun places to tour close by as well.

Our stay was wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful setting. The cabin is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. Nicely treed lot with big deck surrounding cabin - so option of sitting in the sun or shade. Terri is a fantastic host - always available and very accommodating.

Awesome cabin - everything you needed was there - awesome location

Riley's home is in a great location. Our stay was eary June, so being on the main street may be noisier in the summer months - however the home is well insulated so outside noise does not travel inside. Riley was a great host - extremely responsive.

The cabin was very cozy and cute. Everything we needed was there. Just a couple minutes walk away we got to see a beautiful sunset! The place was very clean. Definitely would go back!

Brenda's place was extremely pleasant! Such a wonderful and convenient location to local beaches, falls, and short day hikes. The community was really clean and quiet, and the star gazing at night was next level! Me and my family will for hopefully have the opportunity to visit again one day!

With the lake nearby, and the friendly people you'll get a relaxed and fun experience staying in Noam's house. The house was clean, well-equipped and maintained. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who is looking to enjoy a nice getaway experience.
