Fire pit and large dog kennel for those cowboys heading to the rodeo, staying to help gather cattle, or going on a hunting trip. 3 large bedrooms with a flat screen tv in every room. Large luxurious master bedroom has a king size bed, a large corner tub, double sink and a large walk in closet. large comfy bedroom 2 has a king size bed and dresser. Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. This cottage is private, even though it is next to our residence. It has a 6' privacy fence. Once inside the gate,you are met with beautiful landscaping and a view of Lake Isabella and the surrounding mountains that are well worth the drive.The cottage is set for 1-2 adults.

Our home has more amenities than any other in the area. It's a 5 bedroom, 4 bath, (3 are suites with private bathrooms) with 8 total beds. We have a game room & amazing outdoor area with a putting green and a private fenced pool and huge yard on the River Island golf course. Springville is 3 hours North of LA, 3.5 hours south of San Jose in the foothills of the Sierra mountains. We are 90 minutes South of Sequoia National Park and 45 minutes from Balch Park, home of the largest trees on earth.

An A-Frame cabin is set amidst lush greenery, featuring large windows that capture natural light and provide views of the surrounding landscape. Multi-level decks extend from the structure, inviting outdoor relaxation. The setting is serene, surrounded by trees and gently sloping terrain.

Enchanting Sequioa Tree House with Hot-Tub

We had a great stay! The house has a very cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and the location is incredibly quiet — perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub, they made our evenings extra special. There’s also a store, a bar, and a gas station nearby, which was very convenient. The view from the house is beautiful too! A couple of things to keep in mind: Sequoia National Park is about a 2-hour drive away, and as other guests mentioned, the beds could be better — the frames are smaller than the mattresses and quite squeaky, which made it a bit tricky to sleep comfortably. Also, the house itself is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay in Porterville for a birthday trip at Mary’s downtown apartment. We loved the high ceilings and overall cozy and elegant vibe of the place :). We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch during the evenings and enjoying the mountain and orchard views in the distance. Would definitely love to come back!

We absolutely loved staying here. It was so peaceful and welcoming. I spent every morning on the deck drinking my coffee and enjoying the sound of the river. My daughter would run outside to the tree swing first thing every day. The cabin was even better than what it looked like in the photos. The perfect getaway that we all needed. Don’t forget the bug spray though…you’ll want to be able to enjoy the outdoors

Great experience with a reasonable price. The landlord is kind and helpful, the house is small but has all the things we need. Is a cozy little cottage. Love it. Especially the bathroom is very clean. Great place to stay if you’re traveling to sequoia park. The location is perfect, close to the mountain, lake also the town. We had a great time starting our own fire and bbq by the house. 🥰
