Princess of Windsor

Cute little home, very quiet and great views from on top of the hill. Has everything you need. Walkable distance to the CBD, though it is a large hill. There’s a public elevator close by if you don’t want to walk up the stairs. Tess was very friendly and helpful :)
A cozy lounge area highlighted by a gas fireplace featuring a subtle flame display. A dining space with white chairs and a black stool is visible, along with a window offering natural light. The room combines modern amenities with a welcoming layout.

We had a great stay here, was close to town and aquatic centre. Road was quiet with playground opposite house great for our little grandson. Rachel was very obliging and great at communicating, only negative was the shower pressure.

This place was private and peaceful with beautiful surrondings and views. The space created is cool and different with all the basic necessities and plenty of areas to relax/hang out in. Host was very responsive and accomodating. Would stay again.

The Braeburn

KatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our apartment at Braeburn was charming. Clean, cosy and the balcony with river view was a stand out. We appreciated the sweet and savoury treats. Bed was very comfortable and an extra blanket was thoughtfully dropped off in case we needed it. Also Scott messaged us on the first day to let us know we could check in 3 hours early which was just excellent. The Braeburn is extremely central - only a minutes walk from inner-city Whanganui. Highly recommend.

'The Dogbox' Architectural Home

MimiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was our second stay at the dogbox and it was just as wonderful as we remembered it. It had everything we needed plus some wonderful extra touches. Loved going record shopping then being able to listen to our new purchases on the record player! Loved having a late night whisky while soaking in the outdoor bath! I’m quite sure we will be back a third time.

ArtShack at the Beach

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a great stay at Kathryn’s place! It was warm and cosy, with heaters in the bedrooms which made it really comfortable. I really appreciated the extra touches – the nice hot chocolate and container of chocolate biscuits were a real treat! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the beds were super comfortable – I got three great nights of sleep. It’s also in a great location, less than a 10-minute drive to Whanganui town centre. Would fully recommend staying here!
