At the marina there are guest places for boat for a fee(guests must check for availability themselves) This is a great starting point for paddling, surfing, or other water sports activity. Outer Hvaler National Park, with great hiking areas and coastal trails, is about 1 km away. There is also a small sandy beach 100 meters from the house. There is a kiosk, restaurant and marina in the area.

The water from the cistern is brought into the cabin. Drinking water available in the cabin. Cinderella incineration toilet. Fire pit available. Bring your own firewood for the fireplace. Remember to bring your own beddings/towel. 10 minutes walk to bus stop where also view the bus from Oslo stops

Great cabin where you live "on" the water. The cabin is located at Ystehede, by the Iddefjorden, about 10 km from the center of Halden. Here, guests have access to a floating jetty with a bathing ladder, as well as a beach consisting of stone and sand. Here there is outdoor furniture, a gas grill and opportunities to moor your own boat. Here there are many hiking trails in the forest and if you have your own boat you can fish or take the sea route to Halden and on to the Hvalerøyene.

Welcome to "bua" at Hvalstrand pier facility! Bua is a cozy cabin located at Hvalers perhaps most charming marina. Here it is quiet and peaceful while getting a taste of boating Bua is adjacent to the boat docks to expect to meet people vacationing in their boats. There are on-site swimming facilities with a swimming staircase on the end of the boat dock. The surroundings consist of a lot of nice nature with forest, paths and mountains. Vesterøy, Hvaler

Several beaches with good parking facilities nearby. From the city center on Vesterøy there is a bus both further out towards Skjærhalden and into Fredrikstad. Here you can enjoy the silence with a cup of coffee in the sun, take a walk in the forest, a bath in the sea and explore Hvaler's sights.
