Celebrated my ten year anniversary here. The cabin was perfect for what we wanted; a short getaway that focused on eachother. The table was perfect for the board games we brought. The couch was comfortable to snuggle on while watching a nighttime move. The second floor balcony provided an easy way to get a quick glimpse of the star filled night sky before bed. We both already agreed that we would absolutely come back! It also helps that we got to bring along our dog, allowing us peace of mind concerning dog care. Thank you to the host for making everything from check in to check out smooth.

Such a great place! Comfortable, clean, inviting, and not cluttered - felt right at home. Ate all of our meals at the house, and never struggled with the kitchen amenities. Grill, Brita water container, coffee supplies - all went to good use! Loved the small touches, like the s’mores supplies, motion-activated step lights to loft area. Plenty of space for the four of us (parents and two college students). There’s a tri-fold sleeping pad available in the laundry area (wash supplies included), which proved useful - and according to our camping-oriented eldest - super comfortable. Broader neighborhood is quiet, and is a mix of rentals and locals. House next door - as of this writing - is still under construction, but nothing was going on there during our stay. Small home on the other side was only occupied one night. So we felt like we had the cul-de-sac to ourselves. Julia is a great host - responsive and not at all hassled by questions or needs.

I would gladly give this place 6 stars if it would let me. This is a very unique Airbnb experience. From the quiet, peaceful, beautiful setting to the thoughtful small touches, our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and hated to have to leave. The only "downside" was that it was so relaxing and enjoyable to hang out here that it made it hard to leave to explore the many other beautiful attractions that are within an easy drive of this place. Keith was always very responsive too. We loved every minute of it and would return in a heartbeat.

Jaimie and Dave were warm and welcoming. We liked that they shared their farming story with us and introduced us to the animals. They have created a wonderful haven for highland cows, their chickens and 2 awesome dogs. Having constucted everything on the farm has been an amazing feat.Accommodations were creative yet very comfortable. This is our 3rd time staying at the Shipping Container and we look forward to revisiting it soon.

We had a wonderful night watching a movie on DVD and drinking tea with snacks that the owners of this place thoughtfully prepared for us. In the morning, Krista’s dad and we went to feed the deer, at the same time listening to a wonderful story about how this place was built, her dad is a real jack of all trades. We were also shown the local animals such as alpacas, goats, chickens and dogs. We were treated to fresh eggs that were incredibly tasty and I was even given some lavender to take home, which was just incredibly sweet of Krista’s parents. I highly recommend this experience, which we will remember with warmth!
