We zijn ongeveer 4 jaar geleden ook hier geweest en het was wederom een feestje om in Rumpt te zijn. Het is een prachtige omgeving om te fietsen, wandelen en varen. We kwamen aan in de regen, maar ook dan is het gezellig: de camper is knus, er zijn spelletjes, je kan thee zetten en we konden gebruik maken van een kacheltje. Toen de volgende ochtend de zon scheen hebben we buiten ontbeten met eitjes van eigen kippies en een gezellig blommetje op tafel. Witney de kat kwam buurten en de vogeltjes gaven een concert. De camper ligt aan het eind van het erf met uitzicht op het weiland. De badkamer is in de schuur naast de camper. We konden gebruik maken van de (oudere doch fietsende) fietsen en de kano, dat hebben we ook zeker gedaan. Het water is verbonden aan de Linge waar je bijvoorbeeld kan aanmeren bij een terras. Verwacht geen spikspanne luxe, maar de luxe van lekker buiten zijn en het simpele leven. Mariëtte (+fam) is vriendelijk, reageert snel en denkt mee. Tot de volgende!

Little beautiful and functional flat. We were allowed to bring our bikes into the room, which is important for us as bicycle travellers. Espacially beautiful is the view on the windmill. The city is really close and Marielle helped us to find a Restaurant for the evening and for breakfast. She seemed very open and friendly. We would recommend this accomodation.

Charming romantic cottage "Linge Dijk Huisje"

We hebben het ontzettend goed naar ons zin gehad in het huisje van Willem. De locatie is prachtig, typisch Nederlands dijklandschap, het heeft de rust van het platteland en er is vanalles te doen. Zeker voor een gezin met kinderen is Willem’s plek zeer geschikt, er staat een trampoline in de tuin, spelletjes in de kast. Er is een voetbalveldje en zwembadje tegenover het huis aan de andere kant van de dijk. En de Linge zelf natuurlijk om in varen of zwemmen. Het huis was ruim en gezellig ingericht. Door het rieten dak goed geïsoleerd en dus relatief vrij koel als het buiten warm is. Willem was een uitstekende gastheer. Goede communicatie, vriendelijk, flexibel en met een persoonlijke touch. De volgende keer als we mijn familie in Nederland bezoeken zoek ik direct op of het huisje weer beschikbaar is.

We chose this spot for our honeymoon and it was a quiet getaway, we loved it! Lots of good restaurants and shops nearby, and the train is close. It was a good place to crash after exploring other cities. The host was responsive and worked with us on checking in when our train was late, washing the towels, asking if we needed any kitchen/bathroom supplies. We couldn't have asked for more, thank you Jasper for the piece of mind.
