Vacation rentals in Special Area No. 2

We stayed at Murray's lodge back in August with some friends and haven't stopped thinking about his kindness and his beautiful property. We came back again this week, and it's just as breathtaking as the first time we had the privilege of spending time there. You can tell Murray takes very good care of the lodge and his land, and that he puts a lot of heart into it. If you are looking to disconnect for a while and just be with nature, this is the place. My partner and I spent a lot of time venturing out on the land and down to the river to take in the stunning views, just enjoying the bird sounds, cows, and warm sun and wind. Photos just don't do this stay justice. The lodge itself is a much-needed break from city life, and grants you a cozy stay with just about every amenity you need to be comfortable after a day of exploring and embracing the unique terrain. Murray, thank you so much for your kindness and generosity during our stay. We look forward to staying with you again soon.

Kevin's rv is parked in a very picturesque, extremely private location, it had everything we needed for a comfortable long term stay! the views were beautiful, the sheep and cows were super cute but the host was best of all! we had some issues very late at night (first time RV'ers, our ignorance) and he was there to text and talk us through them, smile on his face too! excellent spot, excellent host!

We stayed here during a family road trip and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. This home is such a gem, full of charm and character, with the perfect mix of comfort and personality. It’s one of the most inviting and thoughtfully set-up Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in (and I’ve stayed in quite a few!). The location is amazing, right across the street from a beautiful outdoor pool, and the spray park is just a short walk away, which was perfect for the kids. Being able to park in the garage was an added bonus, especially for unloading little ones. Cori was incredibly responsive and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. We genuinely loved it here and will absolutely be staying again next time we pass through. Such a cozy, memorable place, a true favorite!

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless, very comfortable, and incredibly affordable. Sunny was such a kind and accommodating host — really appreciated the warm welcome. The hot tub was a perfect way to unwind after long days of hiking and exploring the area. The location in East Coulee ended up being ideal — quiet and peaceful, just 5 minutes from the Hoodoos and the historic Atlas Coal Mine, and about 20 minutes from Drumheller. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a relaxing stay outside the city but still close to all the sights.

Perfect little cabin to get away if you want to just do nothing and enjoy the cabin and views. The cabin has all the essentials, comfy beds!! Not much to do in the area, but a great little get away to just relax, and have a firepit. just an fyi: My son was excited to fish in the lake but was disappointed there are No fish in there. Supermarket close in Hanna if you need anything.

Tammy was a great and communicative host and always made sure we had everything we needed! Her dogs were so cute too! Overall we really enjoyed our very quiet weekend stay, it was very relaxing and we look forward to coming back!
