House vacation rentals in Spalding

I had a fantastic stay. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The location was perfect close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

My team and I stayed at Orel’s place for a week and were very comfortable. Since we were the first to stay, there were a few issues to be worked out but Orel was extremely responsive and sorted everything quickly and great care. The kitchen had all the amenities and supplies was great for us to do cooking. The bedrooms were comfortable, water pressure in the showers was good, and the pool was lovely for a dip (and has a great view of the countryside). While the view approaching the house is marred by a large construction container being used by the neighboring house, once it is removed and additional trees are added the front will be quite attractive. We felt secure, parking was comfortable, and there were even some games we enjoyed playing together. Orel was very friendly and we truly felt at home.

Winsome was a good host as she met us on the day of check in. I enjoyed my stay at this property. There was Wi-Fi , cable and smart TV. We had access to clean bedding and towels, there was no housekeeping facilities I think you may have to request this from Winsome. She was very understanding as I found out on my return that there was an issue with my son and she handled the matter diplomatically. The bed was a little bit low and hard for me if I am honest but I think it’s because I have issues with back and joint pain. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. Security is tight but polite, make sure you have your ID on entry for all parties on check in as it will be required and you will need to complete a form for all guests at the gate. I do think the property needs some sort of welcome pack I feel that would have been helpful in terms of the local area etc. Next door there was a very nice guest called Norman he was so helpful he made himself readily available at a drop of a hat. He would take us on day trips and take us shopping as and when required, as you really need a car to stay at Drax Hall Manor country club. The accommodation was about 10 minutes walk to get a taxi and approximately 15 minutes walk to the nearest food establishments KFC, Starbucks, Pizza Hut and there is an another place that sells Jamaican food. It’s located between Ocho Rio’s and St Ann’s Bay. The nearest amenities is in Drax hall itself which, is roughly a 21 minute walk, you access to a petrol station, pharmacy, supermarket and atm machine. The property is located 15 minutes away from medical facilities and Knutsford Express. I would recommend renting a vehicle if you are staying at this property as it will be easier for you to get around. I would recommend that you go shopping in St Ann’s Bay as Drax Hall and Ocho Rio’s itself is very expensive to purchase groceries. Drax Manor has a beautiful swimming pool that is supervised from 7am - 9pm, the is a play area for younger children, a gym, basket ball court and tennis court. There is a private beach located about 20 minutes walk away and it’s called Columbus Cove.

Everything awesome beautiful and magnificent but it’s nothing without the service, help and food Coleen provided us with! A must go to and a great place to unwind. Thank you and see you again for sure!

The Thomas Family is incredible. They were very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. They were also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was extremely helpful. The space was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay.

Ainsley has been very communicative before booking, during the stay and even after check out. Goofey the caretaker was very attentive and helpful and the place was really clean. The community is peaceful and seems very safe and the sunrise and sunsets from the property were awesome. Would stay here again. Good job Ainsley.

Words cannot express and the pictures do not do this place enough justice. Everything was perfect!!!! The place was nicely decorated, comfortable and welcoming. The amenities were well thought out and we had absolutely no complaints. I would highly recommend anyone seeking a quiet, cozy, paradise feel to consider this home as first choice. Audrey was a great host and was very responsive when we communicated with her. We would gladly stay there again.

Close to town! Location was close to all the great food restaurants and the town center. Supermarkets, farmers markets, highways, rivers, and mall close by. Living amongst the natives at its best!

My family and I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. The pictures on the app don’t fully capture its true beauty. Since my husband is from the area, we especially appreciated the familiar sounds of the rooster crowing at dawn and Caribbean music drifting from the windows of a neighboring house—a nostalgic and heartwarming experience. The host thoughtfully arranged for a local guide to assist us in finding the estate and personally escorted us into the gated property. We would definitely stay here again!

My family and I found Sheri’s place to be ideal for our needs. It was perfectly located for easy access to all areas of Mandeville. Sheri was always available and quick to respond to any requests. We truly appreciated the fruit spread upon our arrival and her generous offer to provide us with some of our favorite local items. Sheri’s place has become our go-to home away from home whenever we’re in the Mandeville area.

Blair was great at communicating, and we are very appreciative of her guiding us through the last min booking. Her response was very quick. She made sure we found the place ok and guided us in. We were made to feel very comfortable & secure It was peaceful and the property had many amenities, ac, hot water , tv, stove kettle microwave. The beds were comfortable and very high up. We would stay again and recommend the property based on you being such a fantastic host.

this place was very clean. if you are looking for peace of mind, a private place with great scenery this is it. its of the main road but not hard to find GPS coordinate take you right there. if visiting family, friends or doing business in the area this spacious place is perfect. thanks Sascha fora great experience.

This is about my six or more time staying at Marcia's place. That I think shows just how wonderful Marica is as a host and how welcoming and comfortable her place is. Marcia had really become like family to us. Whenever we are in the Mandeville area Marcia's place is our home away from home. She really understands that when her guest/s chooses her home, the last thing they need is to be uncomfortable or concern about anything. I don't understand why Airbnb has not made her a super host as yet. She response rate is in mins and if there is anything that we may need or questions we may have, Marica takes care of it almost immediately. She's our super host. If you're ever in the Mandeville area please visit her home. I can guarantee that you will love it and you'll definitely go back again 😁

This location was soo beautiful 😍, my husband, myself, mother in law , niece, and sister law all was in love with this place. Mr. Albert and Ms. Sharon made us feel at home. They helped us our with many needs. They respected our space and always let us know that there here to help. I'm definitely returning to this location.

Keisha is a lovely host. Very responsive. Finding the area wasn't really easy, my GPS could not find the place but Keisha provided directions. The place was clean, water pressure was low despite the water pump but hey that's common in Jamaica most times. The bathroom is tiny which might not be a problem for most people I think for me it was unusual since I have huge bathroom. The house was hot, even though there were fans. In all the cottage was cozy, the place was private, and a bit secluded in my opinion a plus for me. It's still a quick drive into Mandeville. The internet worked great and that's a plus. Would I stay again? absolutely! She rented a Kozy Kottage and that's what we got.

Hyacinth’s house was a quiet oasis perfect for relaxing after a long day of work. She was a wonderful host!

Roger was an excellent host. Very easy to communicate with and returns calls in a timely manner. The Chill spot definitely felt like a home away from home. Very nice and quite loaction. Would highly recommend.

Simple home in the heart of Treasure Beach community, with a warm welcome from all neighbours! The home itself has all the basic needs, with simple standards as part the description, yet everything is clean and in working condition. It was very hot when we stayed there so the fans were in full use. The house is a good 15-20min walk downhill to the beach as per the description too. All neighbours were very helpful and warm, from giving us a lift to the supermarket to sharing aloe vera against sunburns! We made great connections in just a few days and loved this. Our group of 3 senior women were happy to share Chill On The Hill for our Calabash Literary Festival weekend. A 7 minute drive down the hill to the main event and a peaceful retreat from the crowds at day’s end worked well for us.
