Cheap. Nice location. Comfy big bed. Room smelt a bit damp is only drawback. Good shower. Good location.

This was genuinely one of our favourite places in all of Sri Lanka. Incredibly peaceful and beautiful with a stunning view of the lake and just the sounds of nature. The room is very luxurious, from the big comfy bed to the beautiful bathroom with a hot waterfall shower, it was perfect! Madhu’s hospitality was expectional, we were so well taken care of and felt at home right away! We had dinner on the terrace by the lake both nights and it was the most delicious and varied local food we’ve had! The breakfast was also fantastic! One of the highlights was when Madhu offered for us to borrow her paddleboard of the lake where we went round the lagoon at sunset and saw lots of widlife! A truly exceptional place, would definitely recommend!!

Der Aufenthalt bei Igor und Michele war einfach schön. Es ist ruhig gelegen, der Pool und die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten laden zum Entspannen ein. Es wurde gemeinsam gefrühstückt und die ganze Stimmung war super freundlich und familiär. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und empfehlen es zu 100% weiter.

This is a fantastic AirBnB house with a beautiful view of ocean, and with gardens, pool, and covered terrace. You are walking distance to two beaches and some good restaurants. The people that take care of the house, Nuska and Kumara, are really wonderful. They are very attentive, bring you fresh juices throughout day, and cook delicious meals. The breakfast is included but lunch and dinner can be served at cost (which is way cheaper than restaurants and at least as delicious). We spent a week here and that wasn’t enough…it really is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

We had such a great time at this place with my family. Our kids could play outside and we adults had a chance to relax. The whole host family were just lovely. Food was good, we got something for everyone (not an easy task). They helped us with everything we needed and were really flexible.

This place was so beautiful! So many well kept plants and the pool area was so nice. The gentleman working there and the lady that cooked were so kind and sweet and always smiling and wanting to help. Food was delicious. very kind people, even offered us our room to rest in after a safari after our check out time, so nice! Would definitely recommend this place and would stay again and again and again!

If you are looking of an oasis and an awesome hideout away from the busy streets of Hikkaduwa you found your place. Traveling can get exhausting, chanakas place is perfect if you feel like staying at home, reading and enjoying some private life in your cabanas. The design is quite unique and one gets the feeling of being at home, as soon as Faust welcomes you.

Wir sind als Familie mit einem Baby und einem vierjährigen Kind einen Monat in der Villa White geblieben und wir hätten uns für diese Zeit keine bessere Unterkunft vorstellen können. Die Besitzer haben uns wie Familie aufgenommen, uns mit den Kindern geholfen und uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt, ob es das Planen von Ausflügen war, frischer Kaffee oder beim Fieber unseres Sohns. Für eine Woche haben wir sogar das größere Zimmer bekommen ohne dafür zu bezahlen, nur um uns eine schöne Zeit zu ermöglichen. Yamuna, die Besitzerin der Villa, liebt nicht nur Babys und Kinder, sondern ist der herzlichste Mensch, dem wir je auf Reisen je begegnet sind. Ein besonderes Highlight sind die Affen, die beim Frühstück regelmäßig vorbeischauen und sich über Bananen freuen. Auch die Lage an einem wunderschönen und für srilankanische Verhältnisse kinderfreundlichen Strand war für uns perfekt. Wir kommen wieder und können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen.

We where very happy with the hotel. It was clean and we missed nothing. Good restaurant with fair prices and the staff was extremly friendly and helpful. Very good location to start your safari. Its just 3 minutes from the entrance of the park. The host arranged a safari for us and everything worked out perfectly. We got picked up at the hotel and the guide was super friendly and had a lot of knowledge about the wildlife.

Nous avons été accueillis avec une bienveillance remarquable, malgré un léger quiproquo avec Airbnb concernant la chambre. Le cadre est tout simplement enchanteur, un véritable havre de paix. La chambre était extraordinaire : spacieuse, baignée de lumière, d’une propreté irréprochable et parfaitement équipée – jusqu’au gel douche, dont le parfum était délicieux ! La piscine, magnifique et parfaitement entretenue, a ajouté une touche de détente inégalable à notre séjour. Les employés sur place ont été d’une gentillesse et d’un professionnalisme exemplaires, toujours disponibles et souriants. L’échange avec le propriétaire a été particulièrement agréable : une personne généreuse, attentive et très respectueuse, qui a su faire un geste très apprécié malgré la distance. Son attention à notre bien-être a vraiment marqué notre séjour. Gorgeous place! I’ll be back next season for sure but with my partner and toddler. I saw so many couple with babies and young children, and groups of friends. Really nice place for all kinds of groups of people :)

Das Jungalow ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, vorallem mit dem Pool und die schöne Aussicht in den Regenwald, wo man auch immer wieder Affen und diverse andere Tiere sieht. Die Gastgerber Familie ist extrem nett und hilfsbereit, ich habe selten solch freundliche Menschen gesehen. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

This place is amazing! We really enjoyed our time here in this dreamy location! The breakfast was one of the best we had in the area with home-baked treats and amazing service.

My wife and I loved the villa and it was a bonus to be there during off-season when we had the place to ourselves as there was no other booking. Praneeth was very helpful throughout our stay and gave us a lot of suggestions to explore Galle and the nearby beaches. Sampath's breakfast fishes were delicious and set us for the day. I would recommend this villa to anyone visiting Galle because it is situated away from the hustle bustle and in the lap of nature. The pool was amazing after a day of adventure. I plan to book the villa again for my next visit with my family.

非常宁静的房源，无敌的胡锦与周边的绿林融为一体，可以看到各种鸟类蓝色的红色的一切可可爱爱的东西。房子干净非常有设计感。所有的服务人员都非常有善热情地为我们提供各种服务，我们入住期间是中国的新年，他们特意准备了当地的斯里兰卡庆祝节日的餐食给我们。都非常美味，餐具很精致，颜色搭配特别有心意。因此我们原来计划住两个晚上，后来又增加了一个晚上。酒店还安排了让我们去了解肉桂的成长及制作的活动非常有意思，还去了肉桂庄园老先生的家，感受了当地的文化。下一次我还是会选择这家酒店也强烈推荐你也来。

We stayed in Shanil's place for 6 nights. We were greeted by Suranga and his team immediately after arriving we received a cool coconut drink and felt right at home. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Suranga and his team did an excellent job. Especially the food was fantastic, the chef did an excellent job. One of the best Srilanken food we had in our vacation in Sri Lanka. We had breakfast and dinner as well. The even provided our kids with western breakfast. We felt welcome from start to end and didn't want to leave. Hopefully we are back. The house with the 2 double room and the separate house with the family room is well set up and gives each guest his own privacy. The location is great with the beach and the ocean right in front of the house. With a 15min. Tuktuk ride you are both in Mirissa and Weligama. Thank you very much for having us.

Wir haben uns bei Magda und Domi sehr wohl gefühlt. Die zwei haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und gaben uns gute Tips für die Umgebung. Das Zimmer war wunderschön und sehr sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsräume waren sehr großzügig und es fehlte an nichts. Der Pool war toll und wir haben viel Zeit darin und drumherum verbracht :) und unsere Tochter liebte zusätzlich das Trampolin. Alles in Allem war es mit die Schönste Unterkunft in Sri Lanka.

We absolutely LOVED staying at NETS. The room was beautiful and clean and the common areas were comfy. The pool was great to use on a lunch break. The co-working space was brilliant, easy to access and you can book separate rooms for meetings. The staff were amazing! Wir hatten das absolute Highlight unserer Reise. Shehan ist ein außergewöhnlicher Gastgeber, der wirklich jeden Wunsch von den Augen abliest. Das Resort ist traumhaft gelegen und Shehan hat für uns eine unvergessliche, privat geführte Tour durch den Yala Park organisiert. Wir haben abseits des Massentourismus Leoparden, Elefanten und viele andere Tiere gesehen. Die Übernachtung im Bungalow mitten in der Natur auf einer Terrasse war einzigartig - wir sahen Glühwürmchen, hörten die Naturgeräusche und bekamen sogar Besuch von einem Elefanten namens Kumaare! Shehan's Wissen über den Park ist einfach beeindruckend. Unbedingte Empfehlung !! Er hat alles perfekt organisiert, von der Abholung am Flughafen bis hin zur Tour und Unterkunft. Ich kann Shehan und sein Resort nur wärmstens weiter empfehlen! Seine Kochkunst: 5 Sterne plus! Bester Guide für individuelle Ausflüge!!! Cet hébergements était exceptionnel avec une personnel digne d'un hôtel 5 étoile. La plage en face de l'hôtel était déserte avec le lagon à 5 min à pied. C'est vraiment l'endroit idéal pour se reposer loin de tout. Nous avons eu la chance de passer une soirée au coin du feu sur la plage avec Sidath et son épouse qui était présent et c'était l'une de nos belles rencontres du Sri-Lanka.

We had such a great stay at mates villa! It’s a gorgeous space, and we loved using the pool and enclosed yard every day. As it’s newly opened, the rooms, kitchen and overall property is in pristine condition. Really good value for what we paid and would love to stay again next time we visit. Special shoutout to the hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming, and even helped us book a taxi to our next destination. Thank you!

We stayed a week at Slow Life boutique hotel. It felt very safe and contained . Our room was lovely upstairs with a little balcony ,air conditioning and our own bathroom. Everything was very clean our sheets and towels were changed . The common area was available but when in the hotel we spent more time in our lovely cool bedroom. Marissa was interesting to explore . The southern end of the beach was a lot calmer to swim in. It was great watching the surfers at the northern end of the beach . The only thing that wasn’t available was facilities to cook our own food . But that was fine as there were so many lovely places to eat in Marissa. Our hosts organised a scooter for us to use . Thanks very much for everything.

Super Unterkunft. Schlichtes Zimmer mit außergewöhnlicher Aussicht! Amesh ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation verlief einfach. Das optionale Frühstück ist sehr lecker und authentisch. Strände, Restaurants, Bars und Geschäfte sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir hatten dort eine gute Zeit!
