Vacation rentals with lake access in Southern Finland

Negotiated check-in is at 14.00. Personal display of the host territory, appliances and the order of use of wood burners (3 in total). Greeting with a box of fresh eggs - chicken, turkey and goose. The houses are filled with all the necessary appliances and things, solve any problem, the bath is great, the grill is top class, the possibilities of accommodation and places for parties in abundance. Everything is compact and thoughtful. We used everything except the washing machine for 2 days. We will definitely come in a different season.

Incredible lakeside lodge just an hour's drive from Helsinki is a dream. Had a hire car and the place was easy to find — stunning views, top-notch facilities, and so peaceful. It tempted four slightly mad Brits to dive into the lake and hit the sauna — pure Finnish therapy! Markus is a fantastic host, offering not just a beautiful place to stay but also helped with local info.

Very please stay at the cottage. Beautiful surroundings and well preserved cottage and facilities. I missed some clear instructions/information in advance about some basics, such as the sauna (not the classic one), and the possibility to charge and electric car and its cost. Nevertheless, totally recommend accommodation if you want to explore Päjänne lake.

Very nice and peaceful place. No distractions whatsoever, you get to enjoy your own country peace in a great setting. Communicating with hosts went smoothly. I totally recommend 10/10!

Dealing with the host was smooth and friendly, we got good instructions. The delicacy waiting in the fridge was a wonderful surprise 🥰 A warm recommendation for this home.

The apartment was neat and cozy, with beautiful surroundings. We appreciated the host’s thoughtful preparation of an extra mattress and a travel bed for our baby, which added to the comfort and convenience of our stay.

It was wonderful to stay in the listing during the training. The stunning view from the windows caressed the eyes from morning to night and the incredibly beautiful nature around invited you to take a walk.

This time we stayed with Benita for 13 nights. A quiet housing association and a comfortable apartment, which, at least for us, has everything you need. Benita responds quickly to contacts. We will come again in the autumn.

It was very nice stay, only stayed for one night but I wish I had more time there. Apartment was exactly as listed and better. Area is close to the water and very beautiful. Venla and Tommi greated us well. Will definitely stay there again if I am in the area again.

The apartment was very clean and cozy and in a good location close to nature and cultural attractions. All communication and practical matters went smoothly. The wonderful thing was the apartment's easy-to-use and pre-loaded log sauna with such gentle steam. It was a 5/5 overall. Thank you. We will be happy to come back here and I highly recommend it.

Jussi was a really friendly and helpful host 😊 A great addition to a relaxing stay was the variety of breakfast supplies in the apartment. We had an amazing stay here, with 4 adults and 3 children (and a small dog). Lots of berry and mushroom picking, canoeing, enjoying the beautiful lake, sauna and hot tub and even catching a few fishes. No need to go anywhere else, there is more than enough to do on the property and surroundings. Pentti was always very responsive and nice. There was everything we needed. We will definitely be coming back here and wish we’d been able to stay longer.

Perfect listing! It was better than the photos suggested. Even though it was a Venetian weekend, we were left alone for the entire long weekend. On the pier, we were able to admire the Isokoskelo family and the swan couple with their child. The water was clean and clear, the steam in the lakeside sauna was great!

We had a fantastic time here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

Fabulous few days at this wonderful cottage by the lake. The setting is spectacular and peaceful. The house has everything you could want and we made good use of the Kayaks, rowing boat sauna, hot tub etc. Jukka very helpful upon arrival and with his suggestions. Can't recommend more highly We will be back I'm sure.

This cute little cottage was equipped with everything needed to cook simple meals and enjoy the time in the nature. We spent beautiful three nights in this peaceful mökki next to the lake. Anja was a great host, and super cool/healthy and bright lady! We were really glad we chose to stay here. Iso kiitos Anja!
