Jan was a wonderful host. My wife and I could not have found a better place to stay in Hermanus: the space is beautiful and the location could not have been better.

We had a lovely stay. The walk to the cave paintings was a lot of fun. There was more to do on the farm than we anticipated. We could have spent the whole weekend there without going out. That being said, its close to Bethlehem, Clarens and the Golden Gate Highlands Park, and we made full use of that. Will have to come back to explore the farm to its fullest.

We had a wonderfull time. Great place! Beautiful! Lizelle, the host, is the sweetest ever and thought about every little detail to make your stay exceptional. From chargers, matches, electrical leads and ambient light to make the night even more magical. Thank you Lizelle!

This was our second stay at Bougainvillea Cottage and it was just as lovely as the first time! We were there for four weeks and enjoyed every day. The house is cozy with a well-equipped kitchen, a spacious bathroom and a nice bedroom. The outdoor area is wonderful with comfortable seating furniture and the large pool in the green garden to stay there and relax. The house is located in a quiet and safe residential area, the two very friendly dogs provide additional security. Everything is well maintained and very clean, it is cleaned weekly and even washed the laundry on request for a fee - a great service. Chrismare and Ben are great, very kind hosts who have done everything to make us feel right at home. We will gladly come back and can recommend Bougainvillea Cottage without restriction.

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to have a quiet holiday. In a great neighbourhood with plenty to do all within walking distance.

Our stay at the lodges was fantastic. They cared for our family gathering (8 people of varying ages) professionally and with charm. The hosts gave us many recommendations as well as information about the local area. They were friendly, without being intrusive. The rooms were spotless, and the facilities were well maintained, with a stunning swimming pool. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Kingdom. The unit was very comfortable and as described. The location is close to Sun City and other amenities. Staff were very friendly. We would return.

Our recent stay at Zumbane Lodge was nothing short of magical the experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking scenic views. The lodges themselves were wonderfully comfortable. The beds were cozy, ensuring restful nights for everyone. The highlight for our group, especially the children, was the amazing pool. Clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by stunning natural views, it was the perfect spot for relaxation and fun. Zumbane Lodge is truly a hidden gem in Zimbabwe. Whether you’re looking for a family getaway, a retreat with friends, or a tranquil solo escape, this lodge delivers on every front. We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and quiet guest lodge just outside Grahamstown. Peaceful with magnificent views and beautiful scenery. A must for anyone in the Grahamstown area.

I’m so happy I found Patrick’s Acacia Lodge on Airbnb. I am also thankful it was available as it was a last minute booking. I consider myself lucky. This lodge is one you will keep coming back to whenever you visit Kariba. Every morning upon waking up I had to pinch myself because it didn’t feel real. It was that good. I think what was the icing on the cake though was Freddy the Chef. This gentleman made our stay. He was so attentive and his cooking is better than what you’re going to get at the hotels. Without a doubt. I would like to think that we tipped him well but no matter how much we did I don’t think it could ever be enough. Thank you so much Freddy and for the Super Host Patrick, your place is a gem. Thank you for the hospitality and making our stay so memorable.

we absolutely loved the house, the surroundings and all that Southbroom has to offer. The golf course is the centre of all activity and we spent lots of time there. All the beaches are spectacular and happily safe and wonderful to walk on. the house is very comfortable and well laid out. The maid, Amanda is a real asset and we were very happy to have her. we would love to return this house next year.

We had a lovely stay at Whitestone, the details, layout, decor and surroundings are simply beautiful. Claudia and George are very nice people. I do however feel that the price per night (whether you stay during the week or weekend) is quite steep when I compare it to other luxury airbnbs we have stayed in. We’ve been to airbnbs with hot tubs and breathtaking views, with beautiful designs etc, but at a more reasonable price. A qualm of ours was that the hot tub took 7 hours the first night to heat up from cold with continuous stoking(the hole is too deep), and still was only warm, not hot after all that time. The smoke from the fire/braai doesn’t have any real ventilation because again the hole was built very deep so it makes it hard to bbq without inhaling smoke between that and the hot tub. It is gorgeous, but maybe a bit more worth it if it wasn’t at such a high price when compared to what else is out there. This is just our opinion.

We stayed at Sandi’s property for the month of February 2024. The house, which is situated in gated safe and secure parkland, is exactly as described and pictured. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the living areas are very comfortable. The TV/satellite channels are comprehensive and the Wi-Fi worked beautifully. The patio area is large and a lovely space to sit, eat, barbeque, and relax in the company of the Bushbucks and other friendly wildlife. Fantastic highly recommendable places to breakfast, lunch and dine, are all within a 5 minute drive, as is the magnificent Brenton on Sea beach. The regular load sheddings posed no problems as an inverter is in place. On top of all that, Sandi was on hand to advise and support us if needed. Her local knowledge, professionalism and good nature was invaluable and was ‘the icing on the cake’ of our sta y, she is indeed a ‘Superhost’ and such a lovely person.

Gary was in touch before and during our stay will any necessary information, and was always willing to assist. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Sunset Creek.
