Sunflower cabin is a sweet little rustic cabin with friendly homesteading artist/host located on Owl Tree Acres Farm. Cozy sleeping for 4, a dorm refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave, coffeemaker,. Wifi with desk and Smart HD TV are provided. A “separate” beautiful bath house is located near the Communal fire pit away from the cabin. No bathroom facilities in cabin. Pets allowed with $30 pet fee. No pit bulls, rottweillers or other agressive dog breeds allowed. No pets allowed on beds.

This location provides sandy beaches with main lake views, tennis court, boat trailer parking lot. Located only minutes from I-95 and convenient to RDU, Richmond and Virginia Beach areas.

The Cottage has a full kitchen, a large king bedroom, a bright, window filled sitting area, and a new deck overlooking Upper Weldan Pond and acres of healthy, natural hardwood forest with nearly 4 miles of trails to explore. You'll also love just enjoying the deck and the beauty of the Virginia countryside.

Rocky Mount Home with a View

Please be aware that we do have 2 dogs. They are very friendly and will sniff and whine when she meets you (see pictures). Very cozy and private space with a private entrance above the garage. Fully equipped gym in the garage. All appliances were purchased new as of 2021. Vinyl plank flooring installed 2021 as well. Recently repainted. Best part about this space is you get the country experience with 200 Mbps download speeds. If you need the air mattress let us know.

Cozy Coop Barn Apartment on Hobby Farm

Cozy and modern apartment inside a working hobby farm barn. Upstairs holds one bedroom with a queen bed. Loft area upstairs has a convertible futon with a TV/blue ray/dvd. Downstairs is a nearly full eat in kitchen (only missing a stove) and the spacious bathroom with stand up shower. A grill is also available on the large covered porch. Guests have access to large covered porch, playground and yard area. Farm chores done 2 times daily. Pets allowed with fee.

Halifax Cottage

Our Halifax cottage is conveniently located just 5 miles from Interstate I95 and just off Hwy 301 in the quaint, historic town of Halifax. It is an early 1900's house that's been lovingly restored and nicely appointed to perfectly accommodate individuals, couples, a group of friends or a family. Choosing to stay with us will allow you to experience how small town Eastern NC people live. Halifax has a pop. of 234. We think you will be charmed!!

Not to mention 30 acres and privacy to spare including a private pond, dock, and fire pit. Relax with the family at this beautiful Roanoke Rapids Lakehouse featured on VisitNC (link included in pictures). Bring your own boat to fish or ski the day away, with the ability to moor it up at the boathouse for easy everyday use. Want to step back in time to the late 1800's? Staying at the historic Bracey Train Depot will give you that experience and more. The Depot is among one of the surviving buildings with the old post office across the street, the general store next door and landmarks. This section of Bracey Drive is at times secluded, just around the 'cut' and a half mile from I-85.
