A deck overlooks the cove and is great for viewing the abundant and varied bird life, that includes bald eagles, osprey, loons, cormorants and various species of ducks. At times you may also see harbor seals pursuing schools of fish in the cove. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and also has cooling and a whole house standby generator. About a mile from our home, is Hobbs Pond (2 miles long!) with public access for swimming, boating and kayaking. Hiking trails surround us, too! Beaver Lodge, a favorite spot for weddings and other family events, is also nearby. This listing has an exemption for all animals. For safety reasons, it may not be suitable for young children.
