A lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet and private setting. A deck overlooks the cove and is great for viewing the abundant and varied bird life, that includes bald eagles, osprey, loons, cormorants and various species of ducks. At times you may also see harbor seals pursuing schools of fish in the cove. The cottage has a well equipped kitchen and also has cooling and a whole house standby generator. The house sits across the street from Clam Cove and is not directly on the beach. Beach access is private, quick and easy.

This 1830 cape is for rent by the month or weekly or for a two-night minimum stay. It is located at the edge of the historic village of Waldoboro. It offers a convenient base to sightseeing in midcoast Maine. It’s old-fashioned, decorated with plants, antiques and paintings and features a large, fully equipped kitchen, music room with piano, television room with pull-out sofa, full bath with stall shower and outside patio. Your hosts are right across the driveway.

This home is in a country setting on Hatchet Mountain in Hope near the beautiful Maine coast and about 8 miles from Camden. About a mile from our home, is Hobbs Pond (2 miles long!) with public access for swimming, boating and kayaking. Hiking trails surround us, too! Beaver Lodge, a favorite spot for weddings and other family events, is also nearby. This listing has an exemption for all animals. For safety reasons, it may not be suitable for young children.
