River Lodge

This beautiful granite gate lodge is over 200 years old and is tucked inside the entrance to The Manor Cottages. It overlooks the Brittas river which is full of wildlife all year round. The cottage has recently been renovated in a traditional style but with all the modern day comforts. The cottage has a romantic feel to it and is wonderfully private. The cottage has its own designated parking area and a large private garden. It’s close to both Dublin and the airport yet feels wonderfully remote.

Escape to this private cabin with mountain, city, and sea views. Nestled at the end of our property, it offers complete privacy. You are also welcome to meet our alpaca, sheep, pygmy goats, pigs, and horse. It features a coffee machine, filtered water, toaster, kettle, heater, and electric blanket. A private bathroom is adjacent, with access to a shared full kitchen. A bus stop just 350m away provides direct access to the city center. As we are a farm, it’s not suitable for infants or infirm.

Set in beautiful countryside, only 10 minutes drive to Nass town with a large selections of bars and restaurant’s. 25 minutes drive to Dublin City centre. Visit Oughterard Cemetery, The burial place of Arthur Guinness.

My place is in Terenure village, (on the southside of Dublin city), bus routes, Shops eateries etc..etc. You’ll love my place, my location, the comfort, ambience and convenience. Has all the standard requirement Wi-Fi, laundry facility, privacy, etc, is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers. Fern Cottage is located at the top of Tibradden Lane, on Tibradden Mountain, nestled in an oasis of tranquillity and calm on the family-run farm, in the hinterlands of the Dublin metropolitan area. The unique location is an access point for the Dublin City and is located on the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains Way. Guests will need their own transport. Closest amenities are a 5-10 min drive. WiFi is stable for emails, messaging etc. but not suitable for remote working.
