A mile away, you'll find Deep Eddy Pool (spring fed and open year round), Lion's Municipal Golf Course (18 holes in the heart of Austin), and Lake Austin's waterfront dining. There is access to public transportation (bus) within walking distance (less than a mile). The walk is doable but not incredibly pedestrian friendly. Please note that Via Libre is an upstairs apartment without elevator access. Via Libre requires a 2 night minimum on weekends. We are happy to work with you to accommodate special requests. Gorgeous house less than a block from Lady Bird Lake and within 2-5 blocks of the best restaurants, cafes, and unique weirdness Austin has to offer. In the middle of everything, you’ll feel like you’ve walked into an oasis when you reach the small, tree-lined street that our house is on, and our garden growing flowering vines and mulberries and blackberries. We’ve lived in Austin our whole lives, and this is the best location in town. We’re so excited for you to love it as much as we do!
