The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

Comfortable cottage located beside Ahakista Lodge B and B. Well-equipped with stunning views of Dunmanus Bay. Walking distance to Ahakista pier and beach. Arundels by the pier serving good food and Tin Shed bar also within walking distance from the house, as well as Heron Gallery Cafe. The Old Post Office (Urhan)

We have refurbished this fabulous old building in Urhan using local craftsmen. The building was originally a national school for many years from 1884. It then became a post office and shop for over 40 years. There are fabulous views of the sea at the front and views of the mountains at the rear of the property. It is very close to the Urhan Pub (less than 100 metres) so you can wander down for a pint of Guinness or a glass of wine and take in the breath-taking views of Coulagh bay.

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water. Harbour Lights

If you love the ocean, you will love this place. It is an ocean front property directly on the sea, looking at the Bere Island Lighthouse, very quite and private within walking distance to Castletownbere. It has a private automatic gate and the property has a slipway to the sea. Beautiful area to go canoeing. Seals can be seen from time to time. You can watch the Castletownbere fishing boat going out to sea.

The house is bright and peaceful and is located a few minutes' walk from Dunboy castle and the coastal walks around Dunboy Woods. Situated near Castletownbere, it is an ideal base from which to explore the scenic Beara peninsula .It's a ten minute drive from the Buddhist centre at gurrannes and a twenty minute drive from dursey and ailihes.
