This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. A house on the edge of the cliff. Direct view form the living area of the famous statue "The Seal Woman" and the steepest mountains in the Faroe Island. On 1st floor there is kitchen and living room in one room. In the kitchen there are the normal facilities. There is also a bathroom with shower. Upstairs there are two bedrooms that can accommodate 7 people. Outside the house there is a small balcony, where you can enjoy the spectacular view. You need to take a ferry to get to the house.

Ny og hyggelig hytte

The house is completely renovated. we have our goose walking right outside the house. The airport is within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the airport. 5 minutes walking distance to our local grocery store. About 15 min walking distance to the ferry Jósup to Mykines. There are 2 bedrooms with each dobbel bed. There are good view from the house Its very beautyfull to see the airplane so close. Its easy to come to the house, it’s only one step up to the front door.

The apartment is located in Sørvágur, with a great wiev over Sørvágsfjord and the Island og Mykines. It is located just 2 min drive from the airport, and a few minutes drive to Gásadalur, Múlafoss, Sørvágsvatn, Trælanýpa, and the ferry to Mykines, and boattrips are just a few minutes away. There are good parking conditions.

Small apartment located in Miðvágur. The apartment is located in a quiet enviroment, around 300 meter walk to grocery-store, resturant and a gas-station. It takes around 45 minutes to hike to Trælanípa and Bøsdalafossur from the apartment. And around 15 minutes drive to Gásadalur and the ferry to Mykines and 10 minutes drive to the airport.

Excellent séjour ! Très jolie maison, très lumineuse et conforme aux photos, avec une belle décoration et très bien équipée. Le village est ravissant. (Dommage que l'extérieur de la maison voisine soit un dépotoir)

Anny's place fulfilled our expectations. It has a great location, near the airport and on the way to Torshavn, with some of the great sights of Faroe being very close by. The room was clean, breakfast was great and Anny was very responsive.

A rugged coastal landscape featuring a prominent rock formation, characterized by steep cliffs and a natural archway. Lush green slopes extend down to the water’s edge, where the ocean meets rocky outcrops, under a cloudy sky.

Limber is a nice person always willing to help. This is a great place if you want to stay close to the Airport for a short stay. Being a camper, you have to understand everything is smaller than a regular room. 5 minutes walk you´ll find a nice Restaurant (POLLASTOVA) and the grocery store (ENN BÍLIGARI) with almost everything you´ll need (except BEER, of course). I was there in May 2025 and it took me 20 minutes walk with a roller luggage and backpack to get to the camper and 25 minutes to go back to the Airport; but it all will depend on the weather and the season you get there. All in all, pretty good fr the price.

Idyllic Vacation Home with a Breathtaking View

First off, Bøur is a charming and beautiful village. I felt incredibly privileged to be staying in such a gorgeous, storied place. The owners of the home provided the history of their family’s connection to the town and its contribution to the Faroe Islands arts community, which I found really interesting. Beyond that, the house was totally quirky and charming. The furnishings are mid century and well loved. The beds are comfy cozy. The views are absolutely stunning. We had everything we could possibly need. If I had any questions (which I did), Vert was super responsive, and all representatives were friendly and helpful. We had a magnificent time. We totally fell in love with the Faroe Islands.

숙소가 너무 깨끗하고 편했습니다. 호스트가 매우 친절하구요. 한국분들이 페로제도에 아직 많이는 방문하지 않는걸로 알지만, 기본적으로 정말 잘 맞을거라고 생각합니다. 와이파이가 간헐적으로 끊기긴했지만.. 그 외에 문제되는건 전혀 없었습니다. 좋은 추억 만들고 가고 너무 추천드립니다!

This was such a perfect place to stay - I was disappointed we only had one night! Short but sweet... The house is very quirky and quaint, I absolutely loved it! The location is perfect and we arrived while there was a football match on within view of the living room, so the town was very lively but peaceful afterwards! Sunneva was very welcoming and we had everything we needed. Highly recommended to others.
