Øksfjord is located about 30 km from the cabin and there you can take the ferry over to Sørøya which is Norway's largest island with no mainland connection. At the cabin you can see the northern lights dancing over the cabin on a clear winter evening or experience the light 24 hours a day on a summer evening.

In the bathroom there are towels, soap and shampoo for all guests. There are 2 bathrooms in the house, one with a bathtub, one with a shower. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining area is a cozy gathering point. The living room has comfortable furniture and TV with basic channel package. the basement room can be used for activity and TV watching

Sørstraumen View

Welcome to Sørstraumen View which is near E6 but still secluded. The cabin is close to the sea, with lovely views in all directions, including to Storstraumen, which is a very good fishing area. The area around the cabin is open and a good starting point for walking, hunting and fishing. There is a road all the way up to the cabin with parking. A small grocery store is also available nearby, where you can buy most of what you need. The cabin is cozy, with three small bedrooms and sleeps 5.

Henrybu Comfortable house by the fjord.

The house is from 2004, situated 25 meters from the sea, with a beautiful view from the living room and terrace. It is modern equipped with dishwasher, microwave, freezer and all the kitchen equipment you will need, floor heating in the bathroom, laundry room and entrance area. The bedrooms are quite spacious with good quality beds. During spring, summer and autumn a boat for 4 people, with an outboard engine, is available for rent. Perfectly situated for day trips around the area. :)
