Ocean View Bure

Our Bure generally fits 2 people with a queen size bed, however we can accommodate up 3 people by adding an additional single bed. Guests will have full access to fresh organic seasonal fruits from the yard. Everything from passion fruit, mango, papaya, banana, coconut, oranges, pineapples and much more can be picked only steps away from your Bure. We value your privacy here at Bibi's Hideaway. Our family home is just a short walk away for anything you need during your stay. We do encourage our guests to come spend time and take part in family activities. We love to share our culture here as well as learn about yours. We are located in beautiful Matei, just less than a 5 minute drive from the airport and less than 20 minutes to the local shops. Only a 5 minute walk to a white sandy beach and 2 local bars and restaurants. 20 minutes by bus or taxi to the island's main town Naqara for shopping. World famous Lavena coastal walk and Bouma Waterfalls are also easily accessed from here and can be arranged when you arrive. We are also just a 5 minute walk to great surfing, snorkeling, kayaking and dive trips to Rainbow Reef. Taxis in Taveuni are very easy to arrange and can be quite affordable. There is also a bus that runs a few times throughout the day from one side of the island to the other.

We are Gerald and Sunny Blonsky and we own Sere Ni Ika which means "Song Of The Fish" in Fijian. Our house is considered to be one of the most beautiful beachfront house in Matei, Taveuni. Our house has large 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, it sleeps 8, fully equipped kitchen with brand new appliances, has a dining area, living room, large Lanai. Washing machine & housekeeping is included. Our caretakers live on the property at quarters built specifically for them.

My name is Isoa and together with my wife Pini manage this beautiful property on Taveuni. It boasts some of the best sea views on the island. With 4 large bedrooms and plenty of space, Ucuilagi is ideal for couples or larger families (including children) alike. Jay and Shauna are amazing hosts. They are both lovely, friendly people, helpful with any information you are seeking, offer amazing suggestions for dining, places to shop, activities to do, ways to get around, and so much more. We loved staying at their airbnb, it is in a perfect location, a fruit and vegetable stand is right next door, kayaks are at the house for your use, Jay picked us up from teh airport and took us to a great coffee shop for breakfast while they goit the house ready since we flew in early. Every time of texted Jay he responded so quickly and always provided a wealth of information about whatever it was I was asking before we arrived. We were traveling a great distance and I had a number of questions and Jay was so helpful. Thank you your house is lovely and we had a wonderful time. We hope to visit Fiji again and stay at the airbnb.

Raitotoka in Fijian means “beautiful view”. But after staying at Raitotoka Resort in Taveuni, I’ve learned my own meaning of the word… family. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted as long lost relatives who have finally made it back home. Amoreena and her family greeted us with loving care, whisking our luggage from the taxi and into our guest room before we could even lift a finger. We were greeted each morning with a warm loaf of Philip’s famous homemade, sourdough bread which is the best we’ve ever had (along with local fruits, coffee, and juice). Amo graciously offers homemade, traditional Fijian dinner that we took her up on, delighting in her company and delicious cooking! We were fortunate to have Amo’s son, Caleb, and his friend (also Caleb) to guide us along the Bouma Nature Hike and Lavena Costal walks. Breathtaking views, a lovely infinity pool, incredibly private beach with snorkeling out front… it’s the fine people of Raitotoka that make this place so special!

Tides Reach Beachfront Villa #2

We stayed at Tides Reach Resort for the second week of our honeymoon in August 2023 and it was great! Resort was small and private, beach had great access to a reef infront to snorkel and many resources to go out to further sites. Staff were so friendly and went the extra mile while always showing Fijian friendliness! Cannot say enough about all the wonderful staff from Niu, Percy, Manasa, Maria, George, and every other person we met! Nice to have the resort to yourself sometimes as it is quite small. Lots of offsite trips on Taveuni to see waterfalls, local villages and towns, and diving and snorkeling right next door at Salt Diver which was very professional. A few minor things that could be improved would be the lighting in the bathrooms was an odd very white light and quite dim, the bathroom could use a fan as well, the safe did not work but never was a concern. Otherwise the room was as shown and always kept tidy by the staff magically while we were away from it.

A pathway framed by lush greenery leads to the beachfront, with tall palm trees swaying gently above. The clear, turquoise water extends into the horizon under a bright blue sky, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere.

Ronna has created a perfect place in paradise to enjoy the natural beauty of Taveuni. Her staff are warm, friendly and dedicated to making your stay smooth and carefree. They told me where to go snorkeling, arranged for airport transport, helped me move my luggage, etc etc.. all with a warm Fijian smile and a genuine sense of hospitality. The Villa's themselves are impeccably maintained. Everything is clean, comfortable and beautiful. The views from all three of her Villas is incredibly beautiful with a view of the best snorkeling reefs in Taveuni and the 4 gorgeous motus (mini-islands) directly in front of the Coconut Grove. Coconut Grove is the recipient of numerous awards for being the best resort etc. It's easy to see why! If you are looking for a dreamy place to stay, directly on the water and with the best access to the gorgeous coral reefs you needn't look any further - I highly recommend booking a stay asap, you will surely be pleased you did. Incredible experience, i couldn’t recommend it more. Storm greeted us and guided us to the most beautiful private cottage. Everything you needed and more. So many activities or just relaxing. Amazing food.
