Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

Excellent house and host family, great nature and fine village, we enjoyed watching the different kind of birds.

We would come back. Very large and cozy, has everything you need and right on the hiking trail to the highlight of Sommarøy. Very nice host!

two-night stay at Sandra's. Very nice, clean and quiet apartment with everything you need to cook if necessary. Sandra is very friendly too. not too far from Tromso by car.

Our stay here was absolutely magical, with breathtaking fjord and mountain views that felt like a dream. The house was cozy, well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, and designed for pure comfort, making it the perfect retreat. The highlight was witnessing the Northern Lights dance right from the windows, no need to chase them, as we had a front-row seat from the warmth of our stay. Every moment here was special, from sipping coffee while admiring the serene landscape to enjoying the peaceful surroundings. On top of that, our host, Knut, was incredibly responsive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Everything was so perfect that leaving felt almost impossible. If you're looking for a scenic, comfortable, and unforgettable experience near Tromsø, this place is truly a gem!

Amazing place! Gorgeous views across the water from the living room windows. Easy walk (or bus) into the centre of town. Also nice having a grocery store 3 minutes away. Charlotte was super friendly and the apartment had all the basics for a stay (laundry detergent, coffee, etc.). Was a perfect base for my short stay in Tromsø.

This house offers an extraordinary view of the sea and the Northern Lights on the beautiful island of Sommarøy. The house is fully equipped with everything needed for a wonderful stay, and it is conveniently located close to Tromsø and the ferry to Senja. Runne was an excellent host, always attentive and even gave us Northern Lights alerts, which made our experience even more special. A perfect choice for anyone visiting Sommarøy!

It was perfect! The house was clean and it had a lot of amenities. Quality was at a high level. I was very satisfied. No neighbors and great sauna. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not in operation… Contact was always great. I fell in love with this place! Thanks Truls!

It was an amazing place to stay. The house itself was beautiful and felt very homey! Sommaroy was amazing and there was great scenery. We loved our stay here, just wished it was longer.

Marielle's place is very spacious, clean and has a fantastic view over the fjord. It is a great location to go skitouring on Kvaløya, one route starts only a few minutes away from the house. There is a well equipped, large kitchen and a great coffee machine. Everything was very clean and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Definitely recommend! Thorleif gave us great tips and also equipped with snowshoes on site, so we could directly make a snow hike behind the house to a viewpoint far from the tourist groups. Very helpful, likeable, simple. The location was easily accessible by bus and the supermarket right around the corner is also a plus. Thanks!

Hege Rudi's house is really a cozy little cocoon that we had trouble leaving. It is very warm and super well-equipped. It is very bright with a large terrace and harbor views. The only downside would be that Torsken is at the end of the road so a little decentralized compared to other points of interest on Senja. We didn't get a chance to meet Hege Rudi but he was very responsive and friendly by message.

Per was an exceptional host! Out of 100 stays, he is by far the best host we have had. Per made sure everything was perfect for the stay. The kids loved the snow on the farm and Per sorted out a sledding hill for them along with all the bits and bobs needed to enjoy the cold weather. He went above and beyond and I am grateful for the hospitality and love that he showed myself, wife, and three kids. Thank you!

Very well located, quiet apartment, with parking included. 30 min walk to the city center and 5 min to Sherpatrappa hike. Well-equipped. Responsive host. Great stay.

Great stay! Check-in was seamless, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the city center, Main Street, and the cathedral. The room was small but well-equipped and perfect for a short stay. The highlight was spotting the Northern Lights from the rooftop terrace—a fantastic bonus! Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful stay in Tromso and in Siv’s home! The apartment was easy to find, secure, and centrally located. We walked everywhere, to restaurants, tour pickups, shops. Her home is clean, comfortable, with plenty of space and good views of the water & mountains. Siv is a wonderful host, always friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!!

Ingrid's place is super cute! I can see why it might be a little challenging to find at first but she gave us the most thorough, easy to understand instructions I have ever gotten with an Airbnb. Complete with pictures! She is also the most responsive host I have ever encountered. When I told her my plans to cycle from Tromso to the Lofoten Islands she gave me a ton of suggestions of sights to see and things to do.

Great location with great views of the fjord. Bus stop right around the corner to get into town. The apartment was super clean and the communication with Jøran easy and nice.

Nice small apartment on a ground floor of the house. Had everything I needed for my stay in Tromsø. Not the most spacious apartment but good layout makes it work very well.

We had a wonderful stay. The accommodation was exactly as described and the surrounds were beautiful. Thomas is an amazing host, helping us out with local recommendations and information. Would highly recommend (especially for those with children).
