An absolutely beautiful property in Solwezi, with easy access to the General Hospital in walking distance. The place is clean, very well appointed kitchen with electric and gas cooking options. The solar backup made life during load shedding hours much more worry free. There is laundry and a clothesline on site, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are extremely well done with lots of room for storage, air conditioning, and very comfortable. A truly luxurious experience I’d recommend to any and all travellers, and her communication to her guests is world class. Deal with a true professional, and stay with Maambo at her Mulweendo apartment!

What an ABSOLUTE pleasure it has been staying here for 8 days. Sandra is an absolute gem that responds with anything you request or any questions you may have and tries to assist you as best she can. I travel all over South Africa for business and have stayed in a few up-market hotels where service is sub-standard and the only way you get anything is by opening your wallet. As an example, there was an issue with the iron. The next day when I returned there was a brand-new iron…. With a very expensive trip to Zambia including the Copper belt visiting the mines and all the internal flights, I was in search of an affordable self-catering unit in Solwezi to be my base and it worked out perfectly. Only a 10-minute drive to Kansanshi mine. Sandra also allowed for me to keep all my luggage her while I travel to Kitwe for one night and then back again. Great place - very neat, very cozy. The road to get there is quite bad for low cars but other than that? Fantastic option!
