Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Sokndal

Our stay at Per’s place in Åna-Sira was lovely. The house is very eclectic, mix of old & new, with lots of art, plants, vintage furniture & decor. The house sits over the water with docks surrounding on one side and the location right in the middle of the fjord couldn’t be more picturesque. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking family dinners and space was enough for our group of 10. We had quite a bit of rain but the fireplace kept it cozy and we did some rainy day excursions to the nearby museum and Flekkeford. We were able to fish lots of trout from the dock and found plenty of wild mushrooms on the numerous hiking trails around nearby (porcini & chanterelles). On the sunny days we did some of the longer hikes which are well worth the effort for the views and otherworldly landscape, but be prepared to get wet feet even on dry days.

Rekefjord ist einfach schön und bietet auch gute wander möglichkeiten. Gegend ist sehr empfehlenswert

Huisje was schoon en erg mooi gelegen. We hebben genoten van het mooie weer, het uitzicht en de zwemvijver met kabelbaan in het dorpje. Piotr reageerde snel als we vragen hadden.

It was clear Iselin puts a lot of care into having guests, we really enjoyed our stay. Clean and comfortable + Wilma the cat came in to hang with us before nighttime. She was really friendly and sweet!

Tolle und gemütlich eingerichtete Unterkunft. Die Kommunikation mit Kevin war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und schnell. Die Gegend ist perfekt, um kürzere aber auch längere Wanderungen vorzunehmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Liebe Grüße Patric und Lara

Spacious, well equipped home in a quiet suburb of Flekkefjord. Easy private parking. the property was as clean as any normal house, with kitchen and bathroom spotless. Properly equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook full meals for a week. The covered balcony/deck area was delightful to eat outside. Alf was really responsive to questions, whilst never intruding. He left details of local shopping and things to do. This made an excellent base for a week exploring the area by motorcycle.

Had a lovely stay at this beautiful place! Bed was comfortable, nice shower and the gym was great. Oil, salt & coffee in the kitchen. The views are amazing, I had a very relaxing time here and friendly contact with Amelie!

Wer etwas sucht, das sich nach zuhause anfühlt, ist hier richtig! Leah ist sehr offen und ehrlich herzlich, die Wohnung gemütlich und der Garten wunderschön. Im Ich habe mich von ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist ein guter Startpunkt für sowohl längere als auch kürzere Runden mit dem Hund. In wenigen Fahrtminuten erreicht man auch weitere Wandergebiete. Stavanger ist nicht weit, genauso wie viele Supermärkte.

An alle die gerne bei Liv und Jan übernachten wollen. Es waren 2 herrliche und sehr herzliche Tage die wir bei den beiden verbringen durften, jederzeit gerne wieder. Es hat alles gepasst. Können wir sehr gerne weiterempfehlen.

We really fell in love with Farsund! It was our first stay in Norway and it was perfect. The apartment is huge, at the first floor, very modern, well equipped, nice and clean. You can see the fjord from 2 fronts and the large balcony. We loved to let the day end on it! Truls is a kind and caring host who gave us tips for beautiful lonely hikes to his favourite places. We can definitely recommend this place and it’s host!

Royaal appartement, voorzien van alle gemakken en op prima, zeer rustige lokatie met eigen parkeerplaats. Is ons zeer goed bevallen, voldeet helemaal aan onze verwachting.

Vi rejste flere familier afsted sammen til bryllup i Eigersund. Det var perfekt, at vi alle kunne bo sammen og beliggenheden i forhold til kirken og stedet, hvor festen skulle afholdes, var helt genialt. Det er et gammelt hus, men det er også beskrevet i omtalen, så ikke en overraskelse, og så er det særdeles hyggeligt indrettet. Det var superfint med fx både opvaskepulver, shampoo og diverse føntørrer, krøllejern mv. Det var dejligt, at vi ikke selv skulle have det med. Kommunikationen har været helt i top, og lynhurtigt svar/hjælp. Kan kun anbefale dette hus og værterne.

En utrolig fin beliggenhet på stranden, trivelig og moderne hytte! Stor koste oss i denne hytta :)

Stort, innholdsrikt hus med flott hage og perfekt beliggenhet i det flotte Jær-landskapet. Mange flotte turmuligheter på sykkel for de som er interessert i det. Bading på flotte strender, også mulig i mai for de som tåler 10-12 grader i vannet 😊. Stedet anbefales både for avkobling og aktivitet.

Diderich was very easy to contact. This is a great house if you want communal space. Large sofas and 3 separate spaces in a large open plan lounge and dining area to chill out, chat, read or watch some TV on the huge screen. The view is just beautiful. Nice upstairs balcony and all of the rooms have a view of the sea. Very peaceful and easy to walk to nearby villages, beaches and a great hut at the top of the hill for evening fire pit and marshmallows! There are so many small bays and beaches and a large area to hike and pick wild blueberries. It is special. The kitchen is fantastic. Everything you could need. Great induction job and oven. Loads of utensils. Amazing coffee machine. Only 10 mins drive into Farsund for supermarkets. About 2 hours drive from Kristiansand.

It is a nice house in a wonderful surrounding. we had lots of fun in the waterfall, the river and the fjord. The conversations with Olav were always on point and fast answered. I recommend it warmly.

Øystein ist ein super Gastgeber, keine Frage blieb lange unbeantwortet und generell eine spitzen Kommunikation, auch in deutsch. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in seiner tollen Villa, ich vermisse diesen grandiosen Ausblick aus dem Wohn- und Essbereich. Daumen hoch Øystein, das war Klasse bei dir, Danke dafür..!!

Unni og Bjarne er fantastiske verter. Vi fikk en varm velkomst og god informasjon om praktiske ting og om området. Leide også båt, hvor både båt og motor holdt topp standard. Hytten var flott og er veldig godt utstyrt. Perfekt beliggenhet ligge ved ett koselig vann, og kun 5 minutters rusletur til havet. på vannet er det tilgang til robåt og ferskvannsfiske, og havet gir perfekte fiskemuligheter ett steinkast fra brygga. Vi hadde fiskelykke da fisken var bitevillig, og fikk godt med både torsk, sei og makrell. Mange koselige utfluktsmuligheter, som Lyngdal og Mandal sentrum, Sørlandsbadet, Lindesnes Fyr etc. Vi hadde 5 fantastiske dager, og kommer gjerne tilbake

Veldig flott hus med fin beliggenhet i gang avstand til butikk, var fredelig og rolige omgivelser. Verten var veldig flink til å svare på spørsmål raskt. Veldig flott opphold
